It’s that time of the year: National Poetry Writing Month is on!
For those who don’t know the rules, the task is to write a new poem for each day of the month of April.
The primary goal will be having fun, to quote Jan Hutchinson, Don’t try to write great poems. There will be lots of time later to revise any of your creations that seem to have possibility.
I’ll be focusing on snapshots, snippets of conversations, a song, the news, or a picture. Whatever draws me in.

I won’t post a poem for each day. Some will be written in my first language, and as far as I know, the site rules forbid posting pieces in languages other than English.
