My Life Started After High School - Prologue. Just a Little Refresher - Can't Stop This Thing We Started

MLSEW started with Aidyn screaming down a hallway at Noah saying that he was gay. Then paragraphs later we were months before, just before the school year started, but let's not start there.

In Aidyn's grade 9 year, he discovered Noah Wesley. Immediately after finding the boy Aidyn grew a huge crush on him. Being friends with Noah's cousin, Aaron, he got close to him. On the last Saturday of the summer, he went to Aaron's house party.

That night Aidyn found Noah in his wing of the house. They hung out for a bit before heading to Noah's room and... well make love. Aaron discovered them the next morning.

Over the next few months, Aidyn and Noah began to learn about one another. They hung out more in and out of school. Aidyn struggled with Noah's public displays of affections. Their relationship advanced where Aidyn asked to take it a step farther.

Noah made it conditional; he wanted Aidyn to come out to his parents. When he does, Skylar, Aidyn's younger brother, also tells their mother that he has feelings for Greyson. Shortly after that Aidyn and Noah took their relationship to another level.

When Noah stumbled upon the 2012 theory, he became worried. Noah wanted to be fully out with Aidyn before the “end of the world”. With threats to break things off, Aidyn revealed his sexuality in the middle of the school, just before Christmas break.

On New Years, Aidyn and Noah supervised Aaron's party. When Skylar and his friend Greyson showed up, Aidyn went into big brother mode. Skylar, thanks to a member of Aidyn's soccer team, got piss drunk.

As a result, Aidyn's father blamed him for Skylar's mistake. Claiming that if he never went to a party Skylar never would have either. In the heat of a fight, Aidyn reveals Skylar's sexuality to their father. Enraged their father strikes Skylar and the boys are sent to their friend's places to spend a few nights.

When they got back to school, the soccer team had their first meeting. The coach warned the team that sexuality will not be taken into account for soccer tryouts and anyone who has a problem with that should leave. Jackson, who had gotten Skylar drunk, immediately had a problem.

After Noah had gotten beaten up, and Jackson stupidly filmed it, Jackson was expelled. Happy they continued their lives and went on a full date and more. As a final act of kindness, Noah gives Aidyn a birthday party, something Aidyn hadn't had in years. Since his birthday is on December 31st.

At the start of MLSAHS Aidyn is starting post-secondary school spending most of his time away at dorms. Aidyn faces a long distance relationship with Noah and anything that can come from that.

Coming out as gay at a young age, he faced bullies everywhere. None of them fazed him, though. Noah continued his life as if all the bullies were not there.

He had started living with his Aunt, Uncle, and cousin. His older brother Ryan had committed suicide and in their grief his mother and father passed away. Noah was granted everything that they owned through a will, which was stored at his Aunt and Uncles.

One day Noah was home alone going through his family's thing. He had discovered what he believed to be his brother's, Ryan, journal. The last entry being the day he passed away. All he could see was a date, though; the journal was locked.

As he pondered on where the lock will be. Looking through the storage room again, he figured it out. It was placed in Ryan's favorite movie growing up, The Iron Giant. When he opened it up, he learned the truth behind Ryan's life.

Fearing death, Noah confronts Aidyn with the 2012 theory. Adamant on the “what if” factor he pushed Aidyn to come out publicly. In a last ditch effort, Noah breaks things off until Aidyn tells the school he's gay.

Through the Christmas break, everything was fine, until school started up. Jackson and other members of the soccer team felt Noah was to blame for Aidyn's gayness. Eventually, they beat Noah up and leave him in the hospital for a few days. When the school finds out, with the help of Colton, one of Jackson's “friends,” gets Jackson in serious trouble.

At the start of MLSAHS Noah is saying a partial goodbye to Aidyn. While he is attending school, a few towns over Noah must face an old friend with a major crush on him.

Skylar Scott

Aidyn's little brother, Skylar Scott was intimidated by his older brother. He wanted to spend time with his brother and didn't understand why Aidyn was so distant.

On the first day of school, Skylar meets the new kid, Greyson Payne. Skylar volunteered to show his new blind friend around the school. Unbeknownst to Skylar, he had started to develop feelings for his new friends.

One day Skylar accidentally stumbled in on Aidyn jacking off. Aidyn freaked out on him, scaring Skylar to tears. After Aidyn had calmed down, he apologized and promised to start doing more stuff as brothers together.

As Skylar's feelings developed for Greyson, he got enough courage to kiss him. In the seclusion of Greyson's room, Skylar planted the kiss and then confessed his feelings for his new friend.

In the coming days, looking for help understanding his emotions, Skylar tells his mother about his feelings for Greyson. Specifically telling her not to tell his father until he is ready. He also informs his brother of his feelings.

When New Years came around Skylar had the bright idea of sneaking out of Greyson's place and going over to Aaron and Noah's. Making the promise that Skylar would not leave Greyson, they went over. In only a few moments, Skylar was yanked away by Jackson, one of Aidyn's soccer 'friends'.

Jackson tricked Skylar into drinking so much alcohol that Sky puked. Greyson enraged at him comforted the sick Skylar in the bathroom. When Sky woke up Greyson's parents had been called, and Greyson was currently lying to them to keep Sky out of more trouble. Skylar told Mr. Payne the truth before they went home.

At home, however, was a different story. Skylar was scolded for his actions and sent to his room. Aidyn was then blamed for Skylar's involvement with Alcohol by Mr. Scott. The next day in the midst of an argument Aidyn released Sky's sexuality to his father. Mr. Scott's blood boiled to the point where the boys had to spend nights at friends.

Spending a few days at Greyson's house, Sky did not attend school. His father and Greyson were no longer speaking to him. After a comforting conversation with Greyson's mother and a slightly awkward walk from the bus to the door, everything bad between Greyson and Sky seemed to dissolve.

After a heartfelt reunion with a very apologetic father, Skylar's life was back to normal.

In MLSAHS Skylar is farther in their relationship than Greyson is. Skylar feels he's ready for the next step, but Greyson seems hesitant. He faces his teenage boy horniness almost on a daily basis.

Greyson Payne

The new kid in school, Greyson had spent his summer getting ready for a high school he would never attend. In the last few weeks of summer vacation, his father got transferred to a new job, in a new town. This meant blind Greyson would have to learn a new school.

Dropping his phone in the hallway created his first meeting with Aaron and Skylar. Sky immediately volunteered to show him around the school. Even though Aaron had just finished giving him a tour.

Over time, Greyson and Sky became best friends. Sky did his best to include Greyson in all sorts of activities. Meanwhile, Greyson enjoyed the awkwardness of Skylar.

One day in the bathroom Greyson got kissed by a boy. He found out later it was a boy named Nolan who was moving away only days later. Intrigued by this Greyson wanted to try kissing another boy to see how that felt.

When Greyson sneaked in a kiss with Sky, they were left feeling awkward. Neither one of them knew how to handle what was happening to them. When they kissed more, they started to enjoy it, and eventually became natural to them.

At new years, after Sky had been taken from him and became drunk, Greyson was mad at him. Skylar ended up staying a few nights at his place because of issues with his father. It was hard for Greyson to remain mad at Skylar. He wanted so hard to be angry with him but couldn't.

After they had reconciled, they continued their friendship until Skylar asked him out. They then became a couple, a happy pair of 13-year-olds.

In MLSAHS Greyson fights for independence. He doesn't want to be treated differently because of his disability and pushes Sky away because of it.
