Aidyn's POV

It's finally a weekend that I can go home and see Noah and family. Carter was still in the room when I left, so I gave him permission to use my bed instead of the couch. I thought he could use some comfortable sleeping arrangements.

Key note here: Noah doesn't know I'm coming home for the weekend. Since I have no classes on Friday, I got up early enough for me to get to my old high school before the final bell. That way I could surprise Noah and make his day.

It's only an hour or so drive, but I decided to come a bit early. It's about 2:47 pm right now, and I'm in my mom's office. “How do you think Noah is gonna react?”

Mom just smiled. “I'm sure you will make his day. There is nothing that could make him happier; I'm sure.” It's almost time for school to be over. Almost time to make his day.

When the last bell finally went the PA system turned on. “Noah Wesley please report to the nurse's office for a message.” Awwww YES!

I sat there bouncing, I was so excited. The longer it took Noah to get here the more anxious I became. “Calm down Aidyn. He'll be here soon.”

“I know, I know.” He can hurry up, though!

A few minutes pass and FINALLY the door opened to Noah and Tiz coming in. “Yes, Mrs. Scott?” Because of my position Noah didn't see me. Tiz did, though.

Tiz's hands went up and covered his mouth. He looked like he wanted to scream for Noah. I put my finger to my mouth to signal him to be quiet. Tiz nodded but remained very bubbly.

“Oh, I just wanted to invite you over for dinner tonight.” Mom smiled her mischievous smile.

Noah caught on to it, though. “Sure, what's the occasion?”

I couldn't take it anymore. I have to speak. “We'll I don't know.” I couldn't continue without laughing really hard.

The moment I spoke Noah turned around eyes wide and bolted over to me. With a jump up into my arms, Noah was hugging me for dear life. Tiz finally burst into laughter and jumped around the room. Mom had her slight giggles going off.

“YOU'RE HOME!?” Did I really need to reply? “Why didn't you tell me?”

I shrugged. “I thought it would be better as a surprise.”

“Well ya this is amazing, but Tiz and I were gonna...”

Tiz shook his head and hands. “Nope, it's fine. Go hang out with Aidyn, we'll reschedule.”

Noah finally let go of me and turned to face him. “I'm sorry Tiz. I wanted to hang out with you.”

“It's fine; there is no reason to apologize for something out of your control. But we're nerding out sometime soon!” I don't doubt that Noah and Tiz could nerd out to the maximum capability. “Nice to see you Aidyn. I'll see you guys later.” Tiz left, probably to meet up with his sister.

We spoke on and on about everything. About how each of our schools is going. Awesome moments that have happened. I told him about Braidyn and Josh; he was equally surprised. It wasn't long before we were on our way back home.

Of course, we made a stop first. “Where are we going?” Noah asked me.

“Somewhere.” I grinned.

“Don't pull that! I want to know where we're going.” Noah pouted and crossed his arms. “Aidyn...”

I laughed, quite loudly in fact. “We're here Noah.” Mom had told me about a bakery that opened up in town. It had grown in popularity quite quickly and was rumored to be pretty amazing. Noah really likes baked goods, I mean who doesn't. “That new bakery in town.”

Noah looked over at me. “You couldn't have told me we were heading here. I know this place exists.”

“Have you been here yet?”

“No,” Noah mumbled under his breath. “Okay, maybe a few too many times.”

“Of course, you have. Here, my treat. I've got to get dessert anyways.” With a nice dinner, Mom always likes to have a good desert. And this place, to quote Skylar has 'godly' desserts. “What do you think the fam jam will like?”

“Don't call your family 'fam jam.' That sounds corny.” He's right, I don't care, though. “And we should get a homemade vanilla sprinkle cake. Isaiah got one for his place and shared some with us. It's divine.”

“I think we have our dessert then!” It only took half an hour to get to the front of the line. It turned out there weren't any cakes available, but there were just enough cupcakes for everyone. Noah and I were pretty sure everyone would be okay with this.

We quickly made our way home and delivered the treats to mom. Once we said our hellos to dad and Sky, we headed upstairs. The moment the door closed, Noah pressed his lips to mine.

I collapsed onto my bed Noah on top of me. My hands went to his ass and grabbed his cheeks tight. Noah moaned as I massaged his sweet bubble butt. I giggled and had to break the kiss. “It's your fault!” Noah exclaimed.

I rolled my eyes. “I know, but it's still funny.” Noah snuggled into my shoulder. “You don't want to go further?”

“No, I just want to snuggle right now. You don't have to move your hands, though.” Well, that's good I didn't want to. “What do you want to do this weekend?”

“I don't know; I think we should just hang out.”

I could feel Noah roll his eyes. “No shit. Tomorrow I have to go over and do my first tutor session with Cairo.”

I pulled him up so that we were fully on my bed. “How long is that going to take?”

He shrugged. “I'm only scheduled for an hour. It might take more than that, though. Will you pick me up afterward?”

“I think I can keep my schedule open.” We shared a smile with each other. “I miss this.”

“You have no idea.” Noah actually had a nap on me while we waited for dinner. I ended up turning on the tv as he slept. It was nice just to relax with Noah. I'm glad he's doing alright.

Noah's POV

As much as I don't want to be here, I agreed to it. If you agreed to do something you've got to follow through with it. Aidyn had just gotten me to the Craven's place and was waiting for me to get inside before leaving. He's such a dork.

I knocked on the door lightly. Mrs. Craven answered the door. “Hello Noah, thank you so much for helping Cairo out. We all are very appreciative.”

“It's not a problem, Mrs. Craven. Where is Cairo now?”

“He's just getting his work together. He'll be down in a moment. You can wait at the kitchen table if you'd like.” She welcomed me into the house and showed me to where I would be stationed.

I looked around the house, just to get a feeling of what kind of family the Cravens are. There were plenty of pictures of kids. Like, waaay to many of them. Large family I guess. The Cravens had picture after picture of them with different kids. None of them being Cairo though.

That's when Cairo came stumbling around the corner with his science work in hand. “Hey, Noah.” He offered a shy smile. Once he got all his stuff onto the table, he searched his pockets. “One second, forgot a pencil.” And he bolted off.

I couldn't help but giggle at the kid's energy. For some reason though he seemed reserved here. It is his home, and I get that some kids don't always act the same around their parents. This seemed different, though. Seemed more... personal than that.

“I got one!” Cairo broke me out of my trance. “So what we're on right now is changing things from one to another. Like centimeters to kilometers.”

“Oh, I know that. Are you having trouble with it?”

“Kinda. I know what the answer is all the time, but it's the work we have to show to get there that I'm having trouble with.” And like that, we were off into our tutoring session. Cairo is super smart; he knows the answers, like all of them. Like he said, though, he struggles with showing his work.

We spent time just going over the same things over and over. I didn't mind; it's a lot easier than what I'm doing in Chemistry 12 right now. Which is the same thing, just at a more complicated level. I'm kind of surprised that he needs a tutor, to be honest.

After about an hour of doing them, he and I were getting board. Who wouldn't when you're doing the same thing for an hour. “Do you want something to drink?” Cairo asked me.

“Ya sure, what do you have?”

Cairo looked into the kitchen blankly. “Can Noah and I have something to drink?” He called out into the house.

“Of course, just check the fridge to see what's available.” Mrs. Craven called back to him.

It was now that I noticed how uncomfortable Cairo was. He got up and slowly walked into the kitchen and checked the fridge. His eyes were moving from object to object as if trying to decide what was okay and what wasn't.

“What is there to drink, Cairo?” I asked him.

He looked over to me and then back to the fridge. “We have... orange juice, milk, Pepsi and Coke.”

“In the same household!?” I faked my astonishment. “That must be a sin or something. I'll have a glass of Pepsi though, thanks.”

“I'm personally a Coke person. Let's keep that as an 'agree to disagree' though.” Cairo joked as he closed the fridge.

As he gathered glasses for our drinks, I took another look around the house. Kids from all aspects of life you could think of. Boys, girls, kids, teenagers. None of them looked convincingly close to Cairo. Some were clearly of different ethnicity.

So I asked him a question. “Where are all the pictures of you?”

There was a sound of a glass falling. It didn't break but hit the counter kind of hard. I think I made Cairo very uncomfortable very quickly. “Ummm....” Cairo tried to finish up with the drinks quickly but kept fumbling.

“Everything okay in here?” Mrs. Craven came around the corner suddenly. “I heard something drop.”

“It was just me. The glass slipped out of my hand and hit the counter.” Cairo backed away from the counter and let Mrs. Craven take over. “Sorry.”

“It's okay hun; accidents happen.” Cairo quickly made his way back to the table. “How's studying going?”

“Good.” We both replied. I continued. “Getting a lot of progress done.”

“But that doesn't mean I won't need him in the future,” Cairo added.

Mrs. Craven brought us over our drinks. “Noah can continue to tutor you as long as he's okay with it. Thank you for this Noah.”

I took a drink of my Pepsi. “Thank you for something to drink.” After that, we went back to studying. We moved onto other subjects but nonetheless. I left the whole no pictures thing slide for the rest of the day. Cairo will tell me in time I guess.

Skylar's POV

Aidyn is back for the weekend! Aidyn is back for the weekend! My brother can be an ass at times, but since he has gone off to school, it's been quieter in this house. Now that's he's back, let's raise a little hell!

I knocked on his door. “Come in.”

When I opened the door, I just stuck out my hand with a deck of cards in it. “I challenge you to a children's card game!” I have a deck of Yugioh cards, not actual cards; that's lame. “Get your Yubels and fight me!”

Aidyn chuckled and got up from his bed. “Yes, okay. Hold your horses.” I don't hold my horses. I quickly went downstairs and got myself set up at the kitchen table. Aidyn came down, shorts and a hoodie, shirtless, and sat down at the table.

“Do you have to be shirtless?” I complained.

Aidyn raised his eyebrow. “Getting turned on by your big brother?” I mean Aidyn is hot, well he would be if he wasn't my brother. Now he's got a good stomach but growing up he was kind of pudgy. Made for a great cushion for when I fell asleep watching tv.

“No! It's just distracting sometimes.” Aidyn shook his head and zipped up his hoodie. “Okay, let's play!” If you know nothing about Yugioh, I'm sorry for what's about to happen.

We had gotten most of the way through the duel; I was KINDA losing. “Tricky, Delta Flyer, which makes Stardust.”

“Fuck...” I swore under my breath. But when Stardust attacked, pain for him. “Ghosts of a Grudge!”

“Dam. Did you know there is a group of kids who play at college?” That's surprising actually. “I've thought about bringing Yubel to meet them.”

“How did you get all the Yubels again?” I asked as I played my turn. “Summon Cyber Phoenix.”

It was Aidyn's turn now. “One of the adults that liked to play at the library got them and one by one I traded for them. I promised her I wouldn't ever trade them.” That's right, that's super awesome. “Catastor.”

“I'm fucked.” Aidyn just grinned. “Have you and Noah done anything yet? Since you been back, that is.”

He rolled his eyes. “Not yet. Tonight, though. Why do you need to know though?” Set one card, pass my turn.

I shrugged. “Curious is all. How is college and all that jazz?”

“It's good. I was surprised to learn that there is a gay dating app out there.” More of my cards got destroyed; I am so losing here.

“Legit? There's a dating app?” I can't do anything with this hand, noooo.

Aidyn stared at me straight in the eyes. “It's for 18 plus, not for you. And yes it's called Grindr.” Aidyn caused more damage to me. One turn away from losing now.

“You do realize what telling me what it's called will do.” I have one card that may save me now.

Aidyn drew a card. “Scrap dragon.” Yup, I lose. He destroyed my only saving grace and won the game. “You're going to download it, and I'll do everything in my power to get you off of it.” He gave me a smug smile as he cleaned up his cards.

“I'll just get on again and again then.”

He rolled his eyes. “Ya whatever.” I know he means well but I can take care of myself. “How's things with Greyson?”

“Good, it's as fun as it always is.”

That's when dad's booming voice scared both of us. “What are you doing!?” He was trying to scare us. “Seriously? This card game?”

“Sky wanted to play, so we did.” Aidyn shrugged and shuffled his deck. “How's it going, dad?”

Dad stretched his back. “Better, getting back to desk work on Monday.”

“Oh, that's good.” I smiled. Dad has been at home for who knows how long now. Good to see him getting back to work. “Get back to work, mom's been complaining.”

Dad chuckled. “Yes, I know she has. I'm happy to get back to work as well,” he went and grabbed a water bottle from the fridge. “I'm off for a run; don't destroy the house while I'm out.”

Aidyn and I looked at each other and smiled. “No promises!” We said in sync. Dad just shook his head and headed out.

We ended up playing another game, which I won with the mighty six samurai. His demon thing is no match for the 20 some-odd six samurai. Yes I know, it's dumb.

Once we were done, I took out my phone. Aidyn saw me. “You're not seriously getting it are you?”

“YEP! I'm going to show Greyson tonight.” Maybe we'll find someone nice to talk to.

Aidyn admitted defeat. “Whatever. Just don't get yourself killed or kidnapped. Deal?”

“I'm not gonna meet up with anyone, just go on it. When was the last time you were on it?”

“Like yesterday and I had a good 13 messages. I've ignored most of them. Mostly just 'hey sexy' or 'wanna fuck?'” I laughed at his impressions of random people. “I miss being able just to hang out with you.”

“I miss this too.” Aww, we're having a brotherly moment. “Come back more often Aidyn.”

“I'll try Sky.” That's all anyone can ask right?

Greyson's POV

“So this app finds guys who have this app around us, and we can talk to them?” Skylar found out about this Grindr app from his brother. He thought it would be a fun thing to check it out together.

“Pretty much. I wanted to check it out and thought you might be interested.” Well, he's not wrong. My problem is I can't see it, so he's got to tell me everything that's going on.

A weird ringtone went off from his phone. “We got a message... he doesn't have a pic, though, and it says he's 32.”

“Sounds like we should just ignore it. Wait, what do they see for our picture?” If it's us, I'm going to kill him.

“Don't worry silly, it's not us.” Good, he's safe. “Aidyn made me put up a random pic so that no one knows I'm this young.” I like Aidyn; he's got good ideas. I mean if it were a picture of us I would make him remove it. It's not so we're good.

So we sat around listening to music while Sky scrolled up and down the app looking for interesting people to talk to. We got a few that were kind of interesting but nothing that was overly awesome.

“This app thing is kind of boring Sky. How many people have we talked to?”

I felt him shrug beside me. “Probably like 15 or so...” 15 duds... great. “Oh here's a promising one.”

Rolling over my head ended up on his chest. “Why is it so promising?”

“Well the picture was a drawing, and when I went inside his profile, it read that he drew it himself. I'll just quote it. 'The pic is a drawing of me, which I drew.'” Okay, that sounds kind of promising actually. If only I could see it.

“Describe it to me please.”

“Well he's got hair long enough to go around his eyes, but the sides are short enough not to cover his hair too much.” So he's hair is like Aidyn's, Okay. “Three piercings in each of his earlobes and an armband on his right... I mean left hand. Dress shirt on, and it's too hard to see what exactly but looks like shorts on.”

That noise went off again. “You've already said hi haven't you?”

“Yes, sir! He said 'hey' back to us.”

“How do they know it's an 'us' and not just one person.” That would be a strange thing to realize after the fact. 'Oh, you're two people.. my bad.' Just thinking about it makes me laugh.

“It's in the profile. It says that we are a happy couple but are looking for some more friends.”

I looked up at him. “We are?” I jested.

Couldn't see it, but the way his body moved, he rolled his eyes. “Oh shut it you.”

I laughed. “Does this drawing guy have a name?”

It took Sky a moment to reply. “His profile says 'Tre.' Spelt T-R-E.” Not a bad name actually, kind of cool. “He asked what the two of us are up to.” And he reads profiles!? A miracle.

“Tell him snuggling listening to music.”

I heard Sky type the message into the phone. “Done.” Only a few moments later I heard a 'ding.' “He thinks that's cute, and wonders how old we are.”

“Should we tell him?” I don't know if it's a good idea or not. The 'ding' went off again. “What did he say?”

“He wants more info on who he's talking to.” Well, that's fair; I would want to know too. “What's the harm in telling him? We get banned from here? He lives 300KM away.”

I sighed. “Okay tell him. How old is he?”

Sky had a smirk to his voice. “Twenty-Two.” Young but much older than us. “He says that we should be careful on here. I told him we are being careful.”

“Wait, can you see Aidyn's profile on there?”

“Yup!” We sat there learning about Tre and a bit about him. He was a big fan of Pokemon and was really good at the games. He seemed like a really cool guy, you know if he was within distance to hang out with.

Tre eventually said his good nights and we were left alone again. It wasn't long before I fell asleep on his lap and called it a night. I guess this whole Grindr thing isn't too bad after all. Few and far between there are good guys on there.

Chapter End.

Next chapter will have the official announcement for the "???" POV. The story is just starting, much more to come!
Also the card game between Sky and Aidyn was actually played out by me before writing the chapter. Little trivia for this chapter.

Interesting chapter. I’m glad that Aidyn and Skylar are having a great time playing the card game. Cairo seems like he’s a foster child or something else like that, he has to ask to be able to get something to drink. When Noah was looking around the house from where he and were working on his homework there weren’t any pictures of Cairo and when he asked Cairo he dropped the glass he was holding while trying to pour them something to drink. Noah was definitely surprised when Aidyn finally spoke because he was hiding just out of sight of Noah although Tiz saw Aidyn and had to stifle a laugh when he saw Aidyn. I’m glad that Aidyn was able to get away for the weekend and when he left he told Carter he could use his bed.
