Doctor Noonan-Martin, Miracle Worker? 4. The Life and Times of Avery Noonan

   (3 reviews)

This is book four in the series, 'The Life and Times of Avery Noonan.' It will focus on Madeline, although the rest of the family will make appearances.

To refresh your memories, Madeline was born in Philadelphia, PA in May of 2034. Madeline, or Mads as she was known from a fairly young age, also has an unusual ability. This ability was quite unique and dictated the direction of her career.

I had the general idea quite some time ago, needing another psychic ability, it seemed like a perfect time to make use of that old idea. Keep the tissues handy.

@Lee Wilson's fertile imagination on display yet again in this surprisingly uplifting tale, this time with barely a trace of resentment or nastiness from any one character. The premise of the story is one of selflessness, of light and goodness, although the motivator is amongst the darkest, the "evil" of cancer.

With beautifully drawn characters Lee seemingly revelled in a story built around nurturing, care and the innate goodness of some of our fellow species.

Lee's confidence in his story telling soared with this story, which although fantastical, was imbued with a sense of realism because of the depth of his characters, who in the hands of a less experienced author could so easily have been one-dimensional and lacking any authenticity.

Well done Lee, my favourite of all your stories I have read to date.

Awesome review. Thanks for the feedback and the help along the way. I think I will indeed be hard pressed to outdo myself after this.

Another well written fluent heartfelt story. The tissue warning is in correct place there, indeed.

As this is the fourth in the series, I really recommend reading the previous parts first.

Thank you for writing.

Response from the author:

Thanks for the nice review, and hint to read the others first.
