Just a Milk Run Terran Confederation

The story took us directly into a series of "jumps," i.e., hyperspace intrusions that defy the laws of physics and the limitation of the speed of light. The mission was dangerous and became instantly deadly, and then

 

 

 

a cliffhanger, of course!

A great beginning to an adventure in space.  True to the anthology's theme, there is a leap...followed by a cliffhanger.  Myr is such a tease!  I did have fun reading this tale.  It is a quick fun read that I can heartily recommend.

As my country rural roots might say, "Awright, @Myr -- just because this is marked "Complete" doesn't mean you can't post a sequel in 24 hours."

Great story.  Sometimes normal protocols MUST be ignored in an emergency.
