A perfect story for Halloween, with ghosts, two roommates that appear at first to be polar opposites, but eventually find a common link.  There's also a black cat to tie it more closely to ghosts and something bewitched, and a mystery to solve about a malfunctioning laptop.  This story would be a great read no matter what the season, but tying it in with Halloween makes it even better.  There may also be a warning about the dangers of messing around with AI.

Response from the author:

Bill, thanks for reading and reviewing. I'm glad you enjoyed the story and that my little Halloween spin on the creature feature.

A fable for our times, a story worthy of the Bard of Avon...

"There are more things in heaven and earth, Nix...with apologies, Horatio...than are dreamt of in your philosophy."

Response from the author:

Thanks for reading and reviewing this, drsawzall. I'm glad you enjoyed the little nod to Shakespeare.

This story appeased the romantic nerd in me. Elliot and Noah team up to resolve some technical issues and end up in over their heads. What do they do when electrical forces try to ship them?

Response from the author:

Thirdly, I'm glad you enjoyed my first foray into the romance genre, even if I was dipping my toe in a bit.  Thanks for reading and reviewing!

This is not my usual style of story.  But it was so well done as to be worth five stars,  More and more things happen in the story and gradually they guys and Nix figure to what to do to resolve the various elements of this well written story.

Response from the author:

Paul, I'm glad you took a chance at reading this and that you enjoyed it.  Thanks for reviewing!

A delightful story for the Halloween season. Two young men grow closer together as they meld their different problem-solving efforts to find and bring back the efforts of a former student who computer program apparently did not want to die. A strong-minded black cat forces her opinions on the boys. You do not have to believe in ghosts, but it helps.

Response from the author:

akascrubber, thanks for reading and reviewing!  I'm glad you enjoyed the story.
