What should I do Military Related?
-
There's a story posted on GA I read a while ago. I can't remember the main characters name, but I do know he was involved with a military student by the name of Mike. They had a hot and cold relationship. There's was also an English foreign exchange student who he liked, but he had a hard time because he wasn't sure if the guy was gay or not. He acted jealous whenever he saw him with Mike. There was a part when Mike had cadets sing while they ran and asked him out. Mike had a confrontation and got banned from going back to the fraternity. The last chapter I read, the English dude confronted the main character because the fraternity he wanted to get into rejected him, and he thought he had something to do with it. If anyone can tell me the name of the story, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm so stupid. I remembered the name as soon as I hit submit. It's the English Year by Jwolf.

I joined the forum back in June of 2011. I was excited about it because I wanted a change from my last at-the-time community. It was a gaming one. If you have ever played a video game competitively, you know how cutthroat that type of environment is. Mine was pretty much a planet of insurmountable monsters who fed on victories and were allergic to sportsmanship and any sense of decency. Regardless to say, I wanted out. I was away from here for a while. The point is I'd like to be back. I started writing again these past two months—a long hiatus, so mind the rust—and the story I'm posting here is the one grabbing my attention for now. If you like it, great. If you don't like it, I understand. If you hate it, even better as that makes for an interesting and insightful opinion. Thanks for listening, even if you stopped after the first paragraph. Ok, I have a project in mind, and I'm working on the MC's backstory. His story begins in present day. He served in the US Air Force back in the 1980's. The guy gets embroiled in a sexual relationship with his superior officer and gets nabbed for homosexual misconduct. I'm assuming he'd be discharged dishonorably? Would he be punished? I don't know anything about the Military, and this part of his life is a minor detail. Actually it just to show how much of a heartless guy he is. The officer was very serious about him. But the Relationship was fun for the MC precisely because of the intrigue and tension and suspicion, and when he's caught, he loses interest in the officer. But I wonder how it would work in real life with the dishonorable discharge in your record.
