Barring the wish to not have to worry about money endlessly and bad economies I don't have it half bad. I'm with someone I love, I have kids I love and other family close by. The thing that would change my life the most, to get rid of the pain I have daily, isn't really possible but I've found that you can live with just about anything. Thanks for reminding me of how good I have it.

The biggest change in my life needed one thing: gather enough courage to live my life in truth. Once I admitted to myself that it's OK to be gay, I live much more content life than ever before. Since you've entered my life - or better said since I've invaded yours :P

We are probably all better off than we realize. We have blessings every day that cost us nothing. Personal debt is a plague that can be halted in its tracks one person at a time. All but the wealthiest of people incur debt to buy a home or pay college tuition. But most debt is the result of our inability or unwillingness to deny ourselves "things". If we can learn to deny ourselves these unnecessary things, we can be debt free. The intermediate objective is to cut up our credit cards.

West, I'm glad you see your debt as a relatively small thing keeping you away from Pavel. Best wishes to you both.

I think it's so wonderful you found love here on GA and your getting it worked out to be together despite being in different countries. :2thumbs:

In answer to your question, for me 200,000 dollars and directly going against a promise....worth it? ....probably

I'm tempted to say that your life has already changed forever. You're only working on that slight

A kiss

Money and posessions have never meant that much to me.

Well something bad for me probably, or the opportunity for my boyfriend to move here to the UK :P

I changed my life when I moved to the UK for uni a couple of months ago... All it took was 200 euro for a test and a uni acceptance letter :)

A lotta little things changed my life in significant ways that I never woulda though when it was happening and a lotta things will continue to change my life in ways I can't plan. As far as something I can now do consciously to change my life....I don't know and proly nothin' big because I'm not currently facing as big of a opportunity as you are. I still have my goals, but I can't guarantee that my plans will lead to those goals in a linear manner so while big decisions and impact life in big ways, they're not always significant if they simply induced change but not positive change, but I guess the dilemma is in not knowing how the future will turn out.

Good luck on deciding what you wanna do.

All the best
