As I swim around Gay Authors, I see a wide range of different users here. Those who write put a great deal of time, effort and themselves into bringing amazing and entertaining stories to the GA community. Those who read have the opportunity to talk to the writers, to comment on their stories and discuss aspects that they like or perhaps don’t like about the characters, plots and storyline.

Where else can you communicate with someone who brings you such enjoyment? Do you get to high-five the players after they score the winning goal? Can you tell Hollywood’s A-listers’ what you thought about the newest blockbuster? At Gay Authors, you can and the authors want to hear from you.

If you like a story, tell the author. Reviews encourage new authors to keep at it when they are struggling to create that perfect spine-tingling tale. It can mean the difference between a young new author continuing on the path of becoming and amazing writer or giving up their dreams.

There are over 2,500 stories currently on GA’s website. Tags and categories make it easy to find whatever kind of story that you’re looking for. There is something for everyone. If you like it let them know! Happy reading!

A great point KC! GA is a community that brings authors and readers together, along with a whole host of other personalities to keep the site interesting. As both a reader and an author, I love being able to both hear from my readers and share what I think about the stories I read with the authors. Nothing is as invigorating and helpful to get the creative juices flowing as talking with someone else about something we obviously all care about.

Everyone knows this is my second home :) As soon as my chores are finished, I shower change and grab some food and a drink. Next stop my PC, and GA.

I love to get reviews, the ones full of praise, and the critical ones. Because from those we learn. How to tinker a little or change a certain paragraph or sentence. There are also Beta's and Editors, and proof readers. They all contribute too.

Okay, I'll comment.

I'm one of those whose fingers seem to be everywhere. I read, comment, create prompts, work as a beta, just don't ask me to edit, my spelling leaves much to be desired (thank you spell check.)

Here you can bounce ideas off of other writers, know practically immediately if people like or don't like something and why. Where else can you get this sort of immediate response.

Not only that but here you can make friends, talk about nearly anything, and still be comfortable doing it all in shorts in front of your computer. That is something you don't find anywhere else.

Sometimes just taking the time to tell a writer what you enjoy or why can get you beyond that reader/writer relationship. Goodness knows I have made more than a few friends because of it.

It's not just a fiction site, but a place to learn, to teach, to express yourself or help another to do so. And as much fun as you can have with your clothes on.

Like much in life, you get out of it what you put into it. So, how about a few thoughtful words for the bard who wrote a few for you? The ones that made you laugh, or sweat, or cry, or puff out your chest in pride. Tell 'em what you think, or what you feel, when you read their stuff.

Go ahead, make their day.
