Writing Prompts #270 & #271

Ah, all the little terrors are knocking on my door. No, not trick or treaters, but people demanding I fork over the new prompts. Halloween is two weeks off yet, but some people really want their prompts. :gikkle:

Prompt 270 – Creative
Tag – First Line
“Because, I’m leaving you.”

Prompt 271 – Creative
Tag – The Murder
You had been invited for a vacation, and happy to get away from your daily life quickly took it. Once you were dropped off at the island, you found you were one of only four people there. All of you had been invited, but none of you seemed to know the host, and you all seemed to be stuck with no way off. There was the fully stocked house, a pool, and all sorts of luxuries, but no phone service and no way off till the boat came back. That first day was great until the storm hit, knocking out the power. You went in search of everyone else, the group of you all came upon the body of one of the other guests. Who committed the murder and why? Will you survive to get off the island?

Hopefully one or the other will appeal to you. Last week there was just one soul brave enough to take on the challenge of the prompts. The following may not be appropriate for all readers.

Let me say his story should raise a few eyebrows (if not other things) and make you laugh as well. I'm speaking of Mr. Savik of course. The original prompt read - College is expensive and when you seen the ad, asking for volunteers to undergo a “totally safe” but “unique” trial of a drug you considered it. You were told if you were selected there would be a huge sum of money with enough zeroes on it to pay for college and more for a few years, so it was a done deal In your head. However, you were so quick to sign you didn’t read the whole contract and now you find that the little trial has some serious side effects. One of which was something no one expected. You are going through the change, but the question is, to what?

And here is his answer.

The Metamorphosis
(My apologies to Kafka)

"This is... this is..."

The doctor said, "Kinda awesome?"

"Unacceptable! I'm a freak."

"You are a freak with a 26 inch cock."

"How am I supposed to use this thing? It would kill a normal person."

"Well... look at it this way. You will have a whole lot of fun figuring that one out."

Matt pulled his gigantic penis back into his pants. It ran down his leg past his right knee.

He sighed and complained, "Is there nothing that can be done?"

The doctor looked at his chart and chuckled, "If we discontinue your dosage, I'm pretty sure it will go back to normal but you'll break your contract."

"So... Until the trial period is over, I have to drag this artillery piece around?"

"Poor guy. I'm sure that you'll muddle through."

So you think you have a different way for that prompt to go? Wanna give it a shot or maybe one of the other two hundred plus ideas? Then go have a look and see what appeals to you and next week your work might be spotlighted here.

Last week's prompts can be found here:: For 268 http://www.gayauthors.org/forums/topic/37794-prompt-268-creative/
and for 269 - http://www.gayauthors.org/forums/topic/37795-prompt-269-creative/

So until next week everyone remember to read, write, and review. Enjoy and be safe. - Wayne

James' direction was where my mind went with that as well. He went to such great length to get that story out.

I'm not sure I could do 271 as a traditional prompt piece, it would feel like I was only doing half the job.

It does have a Ten Little Indians feel to it that I like, but I'd have to write it more as novella.

Give me six months and you might get a story from me

I'm working on one for 271... lets see if I can get it finished :D  Though, mine are never the "traditional" pieces and typically end up being at least a couple of thousand...
