Uhmm....just what is floor taste and why would you recognize it????

Sharon

I happen to know that this boy has eaten ants on a dare before, so I don't even want to speculate on why he'd know what floor tastes like.

I bet they taste like chicken though... why is that everything apparently tastes like chicken.

Ann how long have you and Dom known each other? If I'm being too nosiy then tell me to bugger of.

I know a boy who used to eat ants because he liked them. They taste kind of hot. He said.

jfinn, where can I read other works of yours? I really liked The Human Condition.

Glad you liked it. As Dom said, you can find a lot of my stories at Archerland along with a ton of other good stuff from some other very talented authors including the master himself, Nick Archer. I also have a few more stories that I've written that are about straight sex (gasp :lmao: ). If you're up for that the link to my author page is jfinn @ Literotica.

And Dom, thanks for the plug on Chasing Fire. That was actually an experiment I tried to see if I could write stroke. I wasn't exactly successful at achieving that, but it's about as good it's going to get from me. Seems like no matter how hard I fight against it a story always seems to creep into what Im writing. Another weird thing about that story is that it's really two. The one you know on Archerland and the heterosexual version that's up at Lit. I think the gay one works better, but that's probably because it's in first person while the het one is third, which I'm not as fond of writing.

PS Glad the cookies were good and floor flavor free.

Personally, I think Chasing Fire was perfect just the way it was. Even in a one shot it

First, they were clean ants, I swear. And they tasted like an Itallian BMT from subway because that

Hmphrr...I feel like we should start a BSG thread here at the board...of course after the season finale...we've got ONE YEAR of timeline to play around with fanfics...and you know the temptation is so strong....

Dom,

Thanks for DD36. I was in tears. I can't express how much of a relief and how much of a tug on the ol' heartstrings that was. I'm sorry it's over for two reasons. One being I need a new story (With trust...oh yeah :P ) and two being that Seth and rory make such a great couple that I hate to not be able to read about them anymore. Thanks again for giving the world such an awesome story. Something that has honestly got me thinking about certain things and how I feel about them. If it weren't for you, I might not have actually found myself. You kick ass. Thanks again...

Husky.

BTW, I just can't resist saying this. So many people have referred to it as "Dessert [sic] Dropping" ... so that would be like *ahem* cookies on the floor? 0:)

There's something the title has reminded me of all along, and now involving the floor seems appropriate:

There was a Saturday Night Live bit where a product was advertised,

"It's a floor wax! It's a dessert topping!"

Even Buffalo wings taste like chicken.

There's very little meat in bacon.

I have a rule for writing sex scenes that almost makes it possible: the rule is, write them like dinner scenes. That is, you put as much detail in as moves the story forward in some way or another. And I have another rule: every thing in the story has to do at least two things for the story: develop character, setting, plot, establish motivation, build a coherent style, whatever, any two of them (though they ought to be the right two for the moment).

I think Dom does that extremely well. There are only 3 sex scenes as I recall between Seth and Rory, and there's not a lot of detail in them. They advance the story and the dynamics of the relationship. They suggest enough to satisfy much of the readers' curiosity about who does what to whom. The last one suggests further directions where things will head physically.

The most erotic scene in the story, though, is the one where their hands barely touch.

If Dom wanted to try his hand at feeding our voyeuristic interests, he could do a prequel to DD that goes into great detail with Luke and Aaron and then with Aaron and Seth. Maybe he could get Luke to describe how he sees Dave and perhaps go into some fantasies.

But that's not a dare. I anyone has doubts or questions about Dom's ability to write hot sex scenes, I refer them to the last chapter of TOU.

Why is Mikie banned?!!? and ants? really? were they alive... bugs creep me out just seeing them let alone eating them (not that i would...haven't knowingly eaten a bit of meat since i was born). is that the craziest dare you've ever done?

The creepy part to me is... Bugs are healther and cheaper to eat.

What's even more intresting is there are some places in this world that you can get a Pizza with bugs on it.
