Weekly Wrap Up (Jun. 4 - Jun. 10)
Interesting way to start of the blog this week
Sooooooooo, I think I listen to this song at the beginning of each summer as my kick off song to the summer. I like the lyrics and the video. I always wanted to be a boy of summer for a boy . Add in the fact that the kid playing the drums is so intense, who couldn't like this video? I'm not sure if putting links to videos takes up a lot of bandwidth or not, but why not post a link to your favourite kick off to summer song. I'm sure everyone is different, so want to see what gets you in the mood for the summer! BTW, got the opportunity to see Don Henley sing this live as a single set during the Eagles Hell Freezes Over tour in 2013. I was taken aback hearing it live, with the music vibrating the stadium.
psst, Myr, if it does take a lot of bandwidth, let me know and I will crack open my piggybank to help pay for this weeks blog
Now on Monday, Cia gave us a new CSR for the month of June! Did you check it out? I've actually started reading it and I'm intrigued by the green haired boy ! Throw in a guy getting a lecture on a corset and I'm looking forward to this tale.
The great thing about a CSR day on Monday, it means that we are going to have it followed up on Wednesday with an all new Ask An Author 3.0:
Speaking of getting in the mood of summer, how about checking out our latest flashback to get us in the mood for the upcoming Secret Author Contest:
Then we are off to my favourite day of the week, Friday 🥳. It also means a couple of new writing prompts, this week by Cole:
Saturday, Comsie asked a question that I hope not a lot of authors ask of themselves:
Now what would be a wrap up without a wrapping up of the Words of the Day:
auspicious, druid, phlox, precocial, officious, hoard, pavilion

Retail Ninja by astone2292 **Complete** @Dan South said: "I couldn’t agree more with @chris191070 : you need to read this. I haven’t checked the story tags but I hope one of them is #retail. So many retail truths in here.
This is a fun and funny romp. This is also about profit and loss. Literally and figuratively. Profit and people. Profit versus people.
I laughed out loud many, many times. As long as Karens roam the earth in search of bargains there will be room for a sequel.
Well done Mr. Stone and thank you❤️

You search to see if a piece fits where you think it might. You hope certain pieces fit together as you are swept up in the emotions. During the whole time you are transported to another world evoked with great skill. In the end the puzzle is complete, all the pieces come together, and there you are, looking at a beautiful picture with a certain satisfaction and a wonderful feeling. All this thanks to a marvellous author who has created such magic!"
