The word "equine" was first used in English in the late 1700s. The earliest known use of the word was in 1778, in the writings of G. L. Way.

Harry was told specialists made more money, but specializing in equine feather disorders proved to be a mistake.

While this statement is true, he wouldn't be unemployed. The tuffs of hair around the hooves of Clydesdales are called feathers...super bowl GIF by Budweiser

I tend to think of wolfish as someone who's sexually obnoxious and persistent.

I'm thinking of the construction workers in large cities that like to whistle and make cat calls, as well as confronting attractive or minority groups  (eg LGBTQ) on the streets.

I've come back to equine because, although I'm not Asian, I was born in the year of the horse and that seems like a good enough reason to wish everyone Happy Lunar New Year as we enter the Year of the Snake.
