Our summers are fire season, because it doesn't rain from mid-May till the end of October. But we get fog.

I was thinking about "The Other Side of Me" today and I was wanting to ask -- once you said that writing in 3rd person was a stretch for you. How are you liking it? One thing I can say about this story is that I have no idea where it is going. It's hard to say which twin is odder, and the parents are plenty odd too.

Don't get me started on that one - AND water has gone from 86c/Lt -> 1.10/Lt . My garden annoyingly still grows and I've never watered it in 7 years. So why people are getting their knickers in a knot about not being able to water their grass is beyond me. It's also beyond me why I'm not allowed to have my own water tank to collect rain water have it filtered and used for drinking etc - if it's good enough for people out bush to do that and for many 3rd world countries (without the exotic diseases) then it's good enough for me in the suburbs. Oh I forgot, the council makes money out of water - silly me
