Mark Arbour Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 I really don't have anything to add to this intellectual discussion. I'm just trying to beat Vic to 250 posts. This should do it.

I was joking. I asked the same question about the warn bar. Everyone has one. You can only see your own though. 5 blue bars means you're in good standing. If anyone breaks the rules of civility/good conduct, Myr or Dan may issue a warning and/or impose some sanction. PM Myr or Dan if you want more details. Happy 4th, Tim. Hugs, Conner
BoyNeedsTherapy Posted July 4, 2005 Posted July 4, 2005 (edited) Hehe, I like the word dipthong, but then I like odd sounding words. Edited July 5, 2005 by BoyNeedsTherapy
fatboyfat Posted July 4, 2005 Author Posted July 4, 2005 Apparently the correct spelling is actually diphthong, and the word comes from Middle English, and old French among others. From dictionary.reference.com: diph
BoyNeedsTherapy Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Old French diptongue I like the sound of the old French version more but I guess it depends where I'm dipping my tongue...
