  1. "If there was any other way" means "if there was an easier way"
  2. I think the word you were looking for was Sarcasm!
  3. Mark, as you know, none of your readers actually read the sex scenes. We simply humor you so that you will continue with your excellent writing of the parts we don't all skip over.
  4. This is why I was so happy I could have my wife's organs donated. With her serious health history, I was shocked to learn it was possible. I remember when he joined ... I don't remember if I was a lurker at the time. don't need to lose more people.
  5. I think Vic has WAY too much skill in writing craigslist ads
  6. Are not Snoop
  7. actually, that would be 'fabulous' not 'spectacular'
  8. I have always said that the whole left-right thing is not a line, it is a circle. The far left and the far right are connected, and the best example of that connection is the Catholic Church
  9. How much DO you charge your bf? Oh, and CJ, Canada hardly makes it international
  10. I think Vic would be more than happy to warm your toes (or anything else) for you
  11. Happy Hatching Day Bryce. Don't forget how much pain your mom went through to bring you into the world and give her an extra hug Snoop
  12. meh, I think they should have picked one of the other words
  13. 1. You don't have my address and I don't open my mail (too many bills and collector notices) so send all the anthrax you want. It will probably be caught at the post office and the FBI will be knocking at your door. Then you don't have to worry about seeing rakuten again or how to "style" your hair because those fed prison types will handle if for you. There would be a benefit that you would probably get more sex than you could imagine, but not necessarily by choice. 2. I am NOT a dork, or a geek, I barely count as a nerd. Never had a pocket protect, never needed one. I don't carry pens in my pockets.
  14. I hate it when people get upset with me for knowing EVERYTHING (and get in line behind Joe for kicking me in the balls )
  15. Of course, Robbie is planning to dye his hair
  16. you mean the "in shower" look
  17. Joe, You know I understand and live with depression. Nobody can say what the right thing is but you. You handle things how you have to handle them at the same time you seek help on how to handle them "better" or "different" or how you just wish they could be handled. In time things will change. I'm sure Mason is upset that you didn't give him a choice in that matter. This simple detail is probably the most important thing in relationships and probably the hardest thing for someone with depression to understand. In fact, I totally failed to mention it when talking to you because, quite frankly, in my state of mind, I forgot. Let him be mad at you, let him be a jerk, let him vent his anger and frustration how he needs to as long as it isn't AT you. You made a choice for YOUR life because of the realities of YOUR situation. As for the bank, calling and begging to have the fees reversed. If the balance is covered (and you don't have a habit of overdrawing) they may be willing to work with you. Oh, and sob stories about roommates depositing checks early never hurt. Remember, all they can say is "no" and you might get a few bucks back hugz Snoopy

    Oh yeah...

My gods, I'm shocked that you have actually have the ability to learn from what people tell you ... kinda blows my impression of you there. Glad I absolved myself of that skill a long time ago. Oh, and Joe (it is your blog after all) making the right decision is usually a lot more painful (in the short term) than making a wrong one. Snoop
  19. tortured .... twisted .... "geeky kind of way" ... yea, good to see dom back Snoop PS. I may send you an email after all

    Prop 8 blues

What truly boggles my mind is that the margin for Prop 8 is basically the same as the margin against Prop 4. I am an strong supporter of safe and legal abortion, no qualifications, no reservations. I simply cannot understand the mindset of the person who votes for protecting the right of a 15 y/o girl to have an abortion without the requirement to notify ANYONE (beyond otherwise abuse mandatory reporting laws) and, at the same time votes to deny homosexuals a right to marry in order to "protect" some concept of "tradition" On the plus side, I believe the issue of "homosexual marriage" is now more likely to be taught in high school political science classes. As for vic's "hope for the future" ... I suspect the next proposition put forth by these bigots will be to propose to amend the CA constitution to require a 75% majority for propositions to amend the state constitution
  21. Coming into the conversation late, and while I risk sounding like I hold religious beliefs that I do not, I feel a need to point out that (in my always humble (shut up) opinion) the whole discussion is the EXACT point of Moses' parable about Adam and Eve and Eden's demise. It is not an accident that the fateful tree was the tree of knowledge of good and evil. As told, it is the very desire to be arbiters of good and evil that created the break between humans and the God of Moses, a break that Christians believe was fully repaired in that Jesus guy. It is this simple story, way at the beginning of the Jewish and Christian holy books that leads me to believe that ANYONE who tries to tell me what is "good" and what is "evil" is doing so as a human being based on their own biases and not based on some higher authority. Meh ... just pissed myself off ... Time to go vote against Props 8 and 4 here in California. Dr. Mr. Snow "Snoopy" Dog

    Losing Ctrl

Ya know, the reason they have to restore the computer is because their troubleshooting flow chart has that as the first thing. Heaven forbid that in taking the thing apart, installing the new keyboard and putting it back together that their screwdriver actually gets a virus or something
  23. I guess this is kinda a geek comment, but chkdsk /f is probably one of the most powerful commands left over from the MS-DOS days. It is an invaluable tool for correcting hard drive errors. Unfortunately, you generally have to be in some form of "safe" mode to run it because it is such a low level program that once windows boots and gets control of the file system, it locks you out from the file system and the /f (which actually fixes the problem) won't work. 2 other notes, I have found the Ultimate Boot CD http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ to be a powerful tool in helping to solve dead system problems. Second, when you update your system bios, there is sometimes an issue with the exact timing on some of the systemboard chips. This can cause problems with a hard drive. Congrats on getting your system back
  24. Rush was in his original post Tim Pat Benetar, Blondie, The Eurythmics
  25. I just generally ignore anything you say anyway kevin, so lenght is irrelevant Actually, I think length depends on the flow, at some point I stop paying attention.
