Ryushi Posted August 1, 2005 Posted August 1, 2005 (edited) Personally, I agree with everyone here. I think it's a little bit of everything that makes Jude feel drawn to Quinn. His manners and OCD are kinda cute. So are the emotional breakdowns every now and then. I think they make him feel more "real" as Jude said. It adds depth to his character and shows him as a real person with faults and problems and such, which I personally find attractive. The same probably applies to Jude, who has probably seen his fair share of "fake" guys who put on a show and make themselves up to be more that they really are just to get laid. Quinn's fellings are real. I also agree that Jude likely sees a bit of himself in Quinn. Jude wants to make Quinn's coming-out (or at least his acceptence of himself) easier than it had been for him. Though not much of Jude's past has been revealed, we know he had a bad experience coming out of the closet and he wants to help lessen Quinn's pain. And there's the obvious physical attraction that everyone seems to have noticed. But here's similar idea. Jude probably feels that no one was really there for him when he needed them the most. I'm wiling to bet that he had a rough time accepting himself because no one was there to really give him the support he needed. Maybe he feels obligated to give Quinn that support, so that the "cycle of endless pain" or whatever would end. Maybe he feels if he can help just one person go through what he did, that he can feel better about himself. And who wouldn't want to help that adorable jock anyway? Edited August 1, 2005 by Ryushi
