PrivateTim Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 try living in the 1950s where showing your (woman) belly button would be considered very indecent. Oh Jackie..... I think you are off by a few decades..... the bikini was 'invented' in 1946.
Hamen Cheese Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 There is something awfully disturbing about that picture...
TetRefine Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 There is something awfully disturbing about that picture... Yeah, its a girl in a bikini with coodies! Ewwww!
Menorain Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 I don't have anything to be ashamed of and I don't have anything to hide, so I don't have a problem walking around the locker room without a stitch of clothing on.
Tipdin Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 I wish parents would teach their children that whatever their bodies look like, is ok. Variation is normal, and birthday suits should be worn with pride - even wrinkled ones! I don't understand the prudishness, and I chuckle at how easily boys and men are reduced to quivering cowards as soon as they get naked. Get over it! Penis envy and self-doubt is NOT inherent; it has to be taught. I'll show you mine even if you won't show me yours - oh, wait a minute, maybe that's a WHOLE different topic....

Oh which reminds me, I went to the gym earlier and I saw this really, really fat guy walking around naked. I had to look away...
Tommy_B Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 I don't have PE because athletes don't have to take it so I don't know what they do there. Most of the swim and polo guys shower in their Speedo because you want to get the chlorine out of your suit. A lot of guys then towel change, but I don't know if that is because they are shy or because we deck change so much it becomes a habit. I have no problem being naked in the club we belong to to shower and all that but I usually wear a towel in the sauna or steam room. It seems it is the really old guys who are naked every place. Gravity is not kind.
TetRefine Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 (edited) In football, pretty much everyone just walked around naked, changed next to people, and showered after practices. We didn't think anything of it. Were all guys. It's not like we had something new and embarrassing. The ones who didn't like to change or shower or were afraid to get naked were often made fun of and were told they had a case of TPS (Tiny Penis Syndrome ). So from those experiences I have no problem being naked in front of other guys in a locker room. In P.E. we didn't have to take showers, and usually we never got sweaty enough to have to take them anyway. Edited July 16, 2010 by TetRefine
Tipdin Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 Six hundred years ago when I was in junior high, showering was required after gym class. Our instructor was a big handsome beast that would stand and watch us shower - to make sure everyone got a shower presumably... However, it did eliminate the teasing; he didn't allow it. (Luckily I was one of the kids that hit puberty early so I arrogantly strutted around like a porn star...)
Menorain Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 Oh. And what gym do you go to? What time do you get there usually??? O.O XD Oh which reminds me, I went to the gym earlier and I saw this really, really fat guy walking around naked. I had to look away... Thanks for sharing.
