NaperVic Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 (edited) Here's an opinion (as a Domaholic not as a GAC)... I think those who still remained involved should just let go. Letting go means not having to have the last word or the last post. GA has 900+ members now. More than likely, there will be some members you don't like or don't get along with. How about just ignoring them? That policy has worked wonders for me. Vic P.S. - Ann, I'd share some of the chocolate covered peanut butter filled pretzels I had, but I finished the 1lb bag today. And I only got them yesterday. Edited August 20, 2005 by naper_vic
Conner Posted August 20, 2005 Posted August 20, 2005 Thanks, Ann. I unequivocally agree to drop the labels. Be nice? I can do that. Hugs, Conner
Kel Posted August 21, 2005 Posted August 21, 2005 *removes his ray-bans and takes a good look around* It's nice to see ALL of you. Thanks for this thread Ann, you have always had a way with words. Kel p.s. In need of chocolate...hmm. I just made my first ever batch of choc. chip cookies in this house (been here almost 7 yrs). I think they came out pretty damn good if I do say so myself, well once I got the oven going...unknowingly had it on 200 instead of 375 and couldn't understand why they still looked raw, even after I doubled the bake time...
Ann Posted August 22, 2005 Author Posted August 22, 2005 Kel! Good to see you around here. Where have you been? Hmm... coo-kies you say? Ann, who has banned herself from all things yummy after eating an entire chocolate creme pie

Aren't those a bit out of fashion?
Masked Monkey Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Ray-bans? Aren't those a bit out of fashion? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Um, I still wear Vuarnets (only brand that I can find dark enough lenses) :king: Snow Dog (who has a pathological fear of bright lights and glare)
Kel Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Kel! Good to see you around here. Where have you been? Hi Ann, I've been around, hang out mostly at Deweywriter and the Fort forums, but I do occasionally stop over here to see what's going on and get caught up on things. Dom's stories are an irresistible pull. Will have to make it a point to say hello more often. Kel p.s. As far as Ray-Bans go...I worked there for a bit (before they were sold off by B & L), so I have several pairs. They have a classic look about them, although they aren't the only ones I own either.
Davey Posted August 22, 2005 Posted August 22, 2005 Ray-bans? Aren't those a bit out of fashion? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Um, I still wear Vuarnets (only brand that I can find dark enough lenses) :king: Snow Dog (who has a pathological fear of bright lights and glare) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> *sigh* Not really an issue here, don't need them since we never see the sun. Maybe they'd keep the rain outta my eyes! Do you think I should try and get a Job on the Scottish tourist board Dave
Conner Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 I just wanted to say thanks again, Ann. I'm sure we would have worked it out eventually....one day...maybe. I must point out that you have proven me right (again ) .....women are better at managing relationships. Hugs, Conner

I should bend you over my knee and soundly spank your bottom. Bet you'd like that though.
