Andrew Q Gordon Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 As promised, I am going to post a short story covering Jordan's Trial. This takes place about 6 months or so after the end of Second Shot. My plan is for there to be a Prologue - which is really just the reprint of chapter 50, reposted here for context - 5 chapters and a real epilogue this time. Chapters 1 and 2 are going through review now. 3 is almost done, the epilogue is mostly done. I'm going to post these chapters every other week. The 'Prolgoue' and Chapter 1 will be in the same week, So I should have everything wrapped up by October, maybe sooner. After that - well no promises on anything regarding Sec Shot. I don't know when I'll post more, but I do plan to use this world, these characters again. Okay so I hope to have the Prologue up later today and hopefully the Chapter 1 shortly there after. Remember the Prologue is NOT NEW. Just posting it here for context for the story. I doubt most people will read this so I'll make sure I remind people in the story notes. Andy 2

Here's the link to the story The Trial of Jordan Colmar Next chapter will be in about two weeks, well less actually it will be a week from this Sunday and then every two weeks. There are only five chapters left, maybe six with the epilogue, but I'm thinking six total. So let me know what you think - please? Andy 2

And six chapters is all we really need; no reason to bog it down with relationship touchy feely stuff (seeing as how Law & Order doesn't do that either). I don't know when I'll post more, but I do plan to use this world, these characters again. What's funny is that I have read dozens of gay fiction stories over the years. And have encountered numerous gay characters. But for some unknown reason, Jason and Pete are special to me. If I knew exactly why then maybe I could explain it better. Can hardly wait for Peter's testimony, and watch as the defense crumbles. Rankin will most likely get a few contempt charges thrown at him, Jordan's dad is an idiot to approach them as he did. And if you'd read the earlier posts, you'd see that I don't intend to until Cutie has 'delivered' the entire thing, cos I don't read in process stories. Honestly, if there's one thing guaranteed to send me sratospheric, it's being told to calm down by someone in the wrong. Benji, speak to Graeme, please.

Mike, Thanks for the note - the main character is me. . . . err . . . . the prosecutor Martin. Jason and Peter will be involved, I mean Peter has to be, but for the most part it will be a story about the handling of the trial and it's out come. Having lost a murder case where the suspect confessed - don't think for a minute I won't let Jordan be acquitted - just saying it could happen so don't get too confortable with the idea that Jordan Does Jail is the next companion story here 3

Having lost a murder case where the suspect confessed - don't think for a minute I won't let Jordan be acquitted I kinda knew this topic would surface eventually. So I feel that I have to state my case now; if Jordan walks, that will just kill the whole story for me (and Second Shot too, most likely). Yes, you hear about gay bashings all of the time, but that still doesn't make it right. Jordan Colmar is a homophobic piece of shit, and he needs to pay dearly for what he did. I'll post it next sunday. Who knows, I might get inspired and get everything finished and ready sooner, but I can't commit to more right yet - go a little something going on that I kinda need to focus on 1

My dear Trevor you shouldn't tempt me like that. Is THAT all I need to do to get you to stop talking about Second Shot? Seriously, the ending is written, so as much as I appreciate the thought, I can't change the ending - or better said, I won't. If he's guilty, he is, if he's acquitted, he is. It's written and it's staying. But yeah it would suck if he was acquitted, wouldn't it? Stay with me and reserve judgement until the end. Andy 1
