Libby Drew Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 There’s a discussion happening over at LiveJournal about P2P (pull-to-publish) that I thought some writers here would find interesting. http://the-slash-pile.livejournal.com/466985.html It’s fascinating to read how people feel about this new publishing phenomenon and how it relates to the traditional model (which is becoming less traditional by the day). There are the inevitable head-turning statements. For example: … when one considers the fact that it's mostly women writing… original slash, and that forbidding them to publish it is withholding a possibility of income for something mostly women do. Um, what? But anyway, for those considering, or already engaging in, P2P (Nephylim, you come to mind immediately), why not throw in your two cents? At least pop over and read over the comments. The comm has a watchlist of about 1400—readers, authors, publishers, and agents included. I imagine it could do with some well-rounded discourse. Last I checked, anonymous commenting was allowed.
