A new story starts next week, or thereabouts. This time a full length novel with plenty of chapters to get your teeth into and issues to discuss, I hope.

 

What happens when you almost lose someone you love very much, and when they come back they're not quite the person they were before?

So, I'm posting the story. First chapter up.  I hope you like it, It deals with a lot of issues but i hope it's funny in places,sad in others and I just love kai and Alex.

I'm following up reviews to Chapter 17. I'm not worried, but it's uncomfortable inside Kei or Alex (as I imagine them) right now: too much disappointment, anger, and fear. Did the tumor cause all the damage by itself, or did the removal surgery contribute? If so, one can "blame" the tumor for that, too, for it had to come out, and despite major advances, surgury remains crude. The power of that little blob of unthinking tissue to devastate lives is sobering.
