First NHL Kiss Cam happened last night at the Lightning and Leafs game, the crowd loved it !

Aniother small step toward equality and acceptance. Makes my heart glad. It's the little things like that kiss and the reaction which make me tear up.

 

Such a difference from when a member of the Christian Coalition, during a TV appearance almost 20 years ago, claimed I wasn't a man because I was gay. If that old fucker's still alive may he choke to death when he sees how the world has changed!

As a gay athlete, this makes me really happy. I'm glad to see that professional sports are coming around to the idea that LGBTQ people are just the same as anyone else, and that we don't deserved to be mocked or to have same-sex love used to degrade others. The crowd reaction was just priceless.
