A request - When everything is updated and bugs sorted out and all running smoothly, could I get my friends (list) back?

I'm wondering the same thing cause I'm afraid to forget some people if we have to go with follow only

The new site is so phone friendly BTW it's so easy to navigate

I was wondering the same and wanted to put the question after 48 hours as they suggested. But thanks for putting it. I too miss my friends list.

No worries there Gene, we appreciate all the hard work taking place behind the scene. I guess we're all just a bit lost from what we're use to, it'll take so getting use to with practice :)

Also what's the difference between following someone and being friend?

Following has replaced Friend.  There is no friends list any more.  Not something we can control either. I complained when the company made that change and was ignored.

As Myr said, the friends list was axed by the software developer. This won't come back at any point. You can follow other members, but please be aware that will affect your notifications from that person's site activity. Make sure you have gone into your site notifications to check/change how you receive information so you don't get inundated with information you don't want.

As for that we accepted to follow the member, but I got some problem with notifications. In settings I had given the access to send me a notification when they post a status, but not for all their posts. But when they updated their status, I am not getting any notification. How can I adjust the settings!!!?

Go to MANAGE FOLLOWED CONTENT ➡MEMBERS (bottom of list) ➡click the person ➡MANAGE NOTIFICATION OPTIONS (it's the first choice below the name ➡check what notification frequency you want, you cannot select the type of notification, it's all or nothing (I Think?). But it's all in Manage Followed Content.

I managed to find the members list,  there is no option like manage notification options there. When I clicked on the person, it was leading to his/her profile. No option there.

But no more worries guys. I am getting them right now. Sorry if I had caused any disturbance.

It's CHANGE PREFERENCES button ➡CHANGE NOTIFICATIONS PREFERENCES

Sorry it's difficult to remember and navigate all the menus.
