Help Finding a Story

I know I've requested help finding a story. But this story I was following seems to be lost when the software was changed a few months back.

 

The story revolves around an 18 year old being called back to his families ranch in Australian bush after a health emergency of a family member.  The 18 year old has to take over the operations of this several thousand acres ranch. The ranch apparently had a tunnel built from the basement that led to the beach, a school house for the kids of the families who work there, an air strip with housing for people that had to make stops there.  I seem to recall there being an incident with either a ranch hand or a visitor who was drunk and crashed his car.  

 

One part of the story he goes to Europe after finding or getting letter about a family member. Possibly his birth mother that she's sick, he travels there, helps out with there small farm and kids.  Eventually he brings them back to his home so she can rest. 

 

Any help finding this story would be greatly appreciated.

it sounds a lot like a story i read by Quokka, but he pulled all his stories off the site a few months ago. he started to repost some of them but not this one. maybe he will sometime in the future. i'm really bad with titles, sorry

Thank you very much @mogwhy. I was thinking it was may have been by @quokka given his stories are set in Australia.   You firmly pointed me in the right direction and found that the story entitled, Outback, was removed but I found the archived description on the internet archive.  No word on the tunnels I was thinking of however.

I have to get them reedited first, so I need to find a editor who is prepared to do the hard yards for me on that

i was 90% sure it was yours. i thought you had an editor. the ones you are reposting seem a bit more polished since the last time i read them

Yes I do have an editor for Frontier

 

But he has a few personal issues that he is dealing with at the moment, so I don't want to burden him with more work.

The previous editor for Outback I snnot available as far as I am aware, so I am looking for an editor to assist me with redoing the Outback series.

Didn't you also have a story that involved another ranch that had a tunnel to the beach that was built during the war?

yes I did have a story about that, unfortunately that is one of the stories that I permanently lost, so I cant do anything about that story.

I do however have paper copies of Tsunami and Unexpected Confinement, which I will have to type out again, before I can post those two stories,

I have the story Wellstead, so I will be kept fairly busy for a year or so posting all of these old, and the few new stories that I have written recently.

With Frontier being 58 chapters and Beyond Frontier being 22 chapters, it is going to be my second longest story after the Outback books.
