Jeff Burton Posted December 18, 2025 Posted December 18, 2025 I just posted a reply to a comment on one of my stories and it flagged with something I've never seen before. - "This comment is awaiting approval by a moderator." Am I in trouble? 😂 I can send a screen shot plus link if needed. This is new and I'm not sure what I did to trigger it. 3
Site Administrator Solution Popular Post Myr Posted December 18, 2025 Site Administrator Solution Popular Post Posted December 18, 2025 Certain words are blocked so we don't get penalized by the hypocritical Google. (Google is loaded with hardcore pron (deliberately misspelled)) Female mammary gland slang words are usually the cause. 2 2 2

I always found that funny with google, because they have what you just said, yet when you do a google search for something, bad words be damned and you get search results you didn't intend on. Hypocrites lol. 6

ReaderPaul Posted December 20, 2025 Posted December 20, 2025 @Myr -- "pron" reminded me of your "Word of the Day" feature. In looking it up, I found that pron is an abbreviation for the following words: A -- Pronominal B -- Pronoun C -- Pronounced D -- Pronunciation. The above is according to five dictionaries. 2

Hypocrites lol. A friend of mine worked at a small college in Kansas, and one of my emails to him was marked as spam and blocked by the college system because it had the three-letter word for a donkey or burro which starts with "a" and ends with "ss". He had me switch to his private G mail account so things like that and slang terms for mammary glands would not be blocked. 2

The moment I saw the moderator approval thing, my reaction was "I think I know what word is causing this, I wish I could just retract the comment and submit a new one with a different word choice". I was mainly worried I might have been in trouble for using a word that isn't allowed, but now you're telling you approve it on mature rated stories, so I was fine in this case. Thanks for the clarification. 3 2
