wiener wiener wiener

wiener wiener wiener

wiener wiener

I know a wienerman,

He owns a wiener stand.

He sells most anything

From hot dogs on down, hey!

One day I'll be his wife.

I'll be his wiener wife.

Hot Dog! I love that wienerman!

Ahh... Camp fire songs. I love camping. Does any one remember any good camp fire songs or stories? 1.gif I would love to hear them. :D

Thanks,

Kurt :D

Alice the Camel - a classic :D

Alice the camel has five humps.

Alice the camel has five humps.

Alice the camel has five humps.

So ride, Alice, ride.

Boom, boom, boom, boom!

Alice the camel has four humps.

Alice the camel has four humps.

Alice the camel has four humps.

So ride, Alice, ride.

Boom, boom, boom, boom!

Alice the camel has three humps.

Alice the camel has three humps.

Alice the camel has three humps.

So ride, Alice, ride.

Boom, boom, boom, boom!

Alice the camel has two humps.

Alice the camel has two humps.

Alice the camel has two humps.

So ride, Alice, ride.

Boom, boom, boom, boom!

Alice the camel has one hump.

Alice the camel has one hump.

Alice the camel has one hump.

So ride, Alice, ride.

Boom, boom, boom, boom!

Alice the camel has no humps.

Alice the camel has no humps.

Alice the camel has no humps.

'Cause Alice is a horse, of course.

ONE TIN SOLDIER -

Listen children to a story that was written long ago

'Bout a kingdom on a mountain and the valley far below

On the mountain was a treasure buried deep beneath the stone

And the valley people swore they'd have it for their very own

CHORUS:

So go ahead and hate your neighbor, go ahead and cheat a friend

Do it in the name of heaven, you can justify it in the end

There won't be any trumpets blowin' come the judgement day

On the bloody mornin' after, one tin soldier rides away

So the people of the valley sent a message up the hill

Asking for the buried treasure, tons of gold for which they'd kill

Came an answer from the mountain, "With our brothers we will share

All the secrets of the mountain, and the treasure buried there."

CHORUS

Then the valley cried with anger, "Mount your horses, draw your swords!"

And they killed the mountain people, so they got their just reward

As they stood beside the treasure on the mountain dark and red

Turned the stone and looked beneath it, "Peace on Earth" was all it said

CHORUS

Ten green bottles standing on the wall

Ten green bottles standing on the wall

and if one green bottle should accidently fall

they'll be nine green bottles standing on the wall

nine green bottles standing on the wall

nine green bottles standing on the wall

and if one green bottle should accidently fall

they'll be eight green bottles standing on the wall

you have to guess the rest :)

Hey Kurt, I think you've got one of the protest songs from the 1960's there, I've heard it several times, I really like it, Has quite a message to it. :great:

ONE TIN SOLDIER -

Kurt :D

This song is attached to the first movie that ever made me cry from emotional content. Probably because I wasn't ready for it. The Billy Jack is a fun (but bad) movie about tolerance and understanding, as well as some good fight scenes, I recommend it. (maybe I just thought Tom Laughlin was cute at the time)

Worms

Nobody likes me, everybody hates me,

I'll go out and dig some worms;

Long thin skinny ones;

Big fat juicy ones,

See how they wriggle and squirm.

Bite their heads off,

Suck their juice out,

Throw their skins away,

Nobody knows how much I thrive

On worms three times a day.

Long thin skinny ones slip down easily,

Big fat juicy ones stick;

Hold your head back,

Squeeze their tail,

And their juice just goes drip, drip.

lol

MARK, I LOVE this song. It has become a standard in my life. Offline, my pouting is always proceeded by the phrase "I'm going to get some worms" I have not used it in chat for fear that people will not know what I am talking about. :lmao:

I will comment on songs later. I was a leader for 2 summers and Director for 1 summer of a YMCA Day Camp for 4-6th graders. I have a lot of songs rumbling around. Unfortunately, most of them have hand motions  OMG, how much would you all pay to see me singing them.

EDIT:

OK, This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE, I still sing it to people who I know well and are still asleep in the morning when I am awake, hand motions included. It is so annoying and fun:

Way up in the sky (hands thrown up)

The little birds fly (fly with your hands)

Way down in the nest (rock your arms, like holding a baby)

The little birds rest (rest head on hands,

Just remembered this one:

I'm A Nut

I'm an acorn, small and round

Lying on the cold, cold ground

Everyone walks over me

That is why I'm cracked you see

I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue)

I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue)

I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue)

Called myself on the telephone

Just to hear my golden tone

Asked me out for a little date

Picked me up about half past eight

I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue)

I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue)

I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue)

Took myself to the movie show

Stayed too late and said : Let's go

Took my hand and led me out

Drove me home and gave a shout!

I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue)

I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue)

I'm a nut! (Click, click with tongue)
