Oh my, I did not want to get up this morning.  But here i am.

Silence is a big thing for me but it is often difficult to find living in a city. A few times in my life i've been somewhere without sounds of traffic and other people, but not many. I can still feel those moments if i haul them out of the mire of my memories. So i was happily surprised to have this post on my browser's home page this morning. A very interesting article on silence, and what happens: This Is Your Brain on Silence

I hope you read it, when you have a quiet moment.

Precisely.  It's why I live where I live and do what I do.  Thanks for a great article. ❤️

After literally months.  I felt inspired enough to do a scene for Josh.   I actually don't like him very much anymore.  (which is probably the cause of the months long writers block lol) Do you ever write characters like that?

Yes. In my Aeris - Guardian Force story, there is a character that I despise in it. Granted the story is based on a TableTop Homebrew RPG campaign, and the guy turned traitor on us, and when we finally get to do something about him, we found him dead. < REDACTED so people will keep their lunch >

It's a day for videos... Our professor shared this video with us today. It's a fantastic explanation about how we think.

It sounds like you've found a class you enjoy.

Oh, yes, yes, yes!  Another of my favorite Tom Lehrer songs.  I'm always quoting, "...when correctly viewed, everything is lewd..."

So far. She's really nice, posts these videos and discussion questions that make you think, the main reason behind the course.

We have to choose a topic to discuss for the next five weeks and research both sides of the issues. I think I'm going to do Same-Sex Marriage and the angles of "Why some think it's a civil right, and why others think it's a slap to religious liberty."

An interesting topic.  I would have a hard time doing what you propose.  I am admittedly far too biased.

There's a limit I can say here because it's not that cesspool called The Pit, and I don't want Reader to slap me. As a Libertarian, I can see both sides.

Having now heard more about The Pit, I'm glad I never looked into it.  I came here because of stories, of course, but I hang around because GA has no resemblance to the cesspool called Facebook.

I have a Facebook account. It's the only contact I have with my sister, and that a "Happy Birthday" once a year. Otherwise, I'm never on it. Even though, I was told I've been tagged in my cousin's vacation photos, while she is over in Europe. That's why we're watching my Nephew, who she adopted.

You're not missing much in the pit, as I mention to Thorn, it's more an Echo Chamber than anything else. Also, unless you have the "correct" political philosophy, you usually get treated like shyte. I still have on ignore people from when I was in there.

That’s a lot of writing tim, and I look forward to reading all of it, whenever it is ready. I will wait patiently...I promise.

As for what to do next? Do whatever you do in an order that will give you the most joy and fulfillment.

You should be getting the two I have tomorrow sometime. Someone's dumbass forgot to save his work and it was not in a spot where it auto-saves when Windows decided to close for an update while he was asleep.

I just need to shove them into One Drive or my dropbox to make sure they auto-save.

It happened to a school assignment too, that I had not put into OneDrive and had opened at the same time as Changes 2.

do you have office 365 /word 2016 ?  why isn't word auto saving?   that's so weird.  mine does .. if it shuts down incorrectly it save me the original doc and the most up-to-date one.

Office2016 Professional/Enterprise edition. It's free through the University, and the system admin has control over certain features. They have it set to where it will auto-save only to a OneDrive Account, both personal and organizations, and Dropbox accounts only. The My Documents folder, I have on my laptop, is not an Auto-Save location. I turned the backup to OneDrive feature on the folder off when it tried to save 15 gigs worth of ebooks on a 5 gig account.

As for the Auto-recovery, it should be turned on from what I've seen in the settings. Unless they have that blocked as well.
