Hey Clo!  You should try some of the Thai jams.  Mango jam is one of my favourites, but there are some other awesome ones made from other tropical fruits.

Have you tried a peanut butter and banana sandwich?  It was a favourite of my cousin in Tennessee and it is really great.

Preserves are also good with savory dishes, too. Usually as a marinade or sauce for meat.

I'll have to check on that.  Personally, I like jackfruit.  I don't mind the smell of durian, but I get nauseated when I try to eat the stuff. 🤢

Yep!  That's the way I react.  Aod however loves it.  For Thais it is either a love or loath it taste,  but most think it smells like an outhouse at the height of summer.  The comments were hysterical!  I lost it with the first comment.  The guy who thought is smelled like "dick cheese".  How does he know that!
