Zuri Posted May 13 Posted May 13 At the author page, you have a link to the chapters (e.g. https://gayauthors.org/story/zuri/subconscious-mind/#chapters) and recently added the number of recommendations: However, you could also link the word count, views, and comments to the statistics page (e.g. https://gayauthors.org/author/zuri/stats/subconscious-mind/) as well as the recommendations to the respective section on the story page. 1
Site Administrator Myr Posted May 14 Site Administrator Posted May 14 If you mean on the story listing page, then no, not at this time. We purposely reduced the amount of links on the story listing page to speed it up on loading and using the page. The link to chapters makes the most sense, since most people want to jump into reading. The views on stats pages are sharply lower. 2
Zuri Posted July 6 Author Posted July 6 You got to be kidding me: Statistics and recommendations links for every story are impossible because of performance, but after the last update, links to "last read" and "highest read" are not a problem?

Correct. A handful of possible links for a specific reader IF they have reading history is on is significantly less than a minimum of 30 additional links per page to links that vast majority were not using when they were there. Also, give the attitude a rest. You can get those links when you click on a story. 6
