This story is told by a guy named Jeremiah who finds himself at the start of the story as heart broken due to his boyfriend's betrayal. Devastated, he finds solace in his best friend's company, Gina, who works with him in a bar called Diversity. Fate takes a cruel twist as Miah (as Jeremiah is lovingly called by his close friends) finds himself face to face with his childhood friend Bailey.

 

Thus begins a journey of forgiveness, love, sacrifises, drama, and what not as Miah realizes that Bailey is not the same person who ditched him as his friend when he was young. Confessions take place and when Miah gets to know the truth about Bailey's behaviour, they reconcile in a way they never thought they would.

 

In short, a great story by one of my favorite authors. A must if you are the hopeless romantic type.
