I'm curious how Puritans evolved in the first place. If the subspecies mating is such a bad thing, they never would have gotten to be civilized. This seems very similar to the Asgard in the Stargate series.

Just a bit of a nit pick If this is some time in the future, then the 'mother gets custody by default' precendent likely wouldn't exist, as its much less common nowadays, tho I know you're using it here for the drama -
Just a note: It should be "Spider Webs".... no apostrophe needed in this case.

Once again this is getting more unrealistic as each chapter continues.... school officials are REQUIRED to report abuse in any form. They cannot hide it on the request of a student.

Sorry, more time inconsistencies: Cam said in therapy session that he and Kevin had been a couple for over a year... it hasn't been a year yet!

Yet another inconsistency... babies don't walk at 2-3 months old. Especially those who are born 6 months after conception.

I guess Heather had a premature baby? To be born at the end of the school year (June?) and she was 5-6 weeks pregnant at New Years?

Formatting is all messed up in this chapter... line breaks all over the place that shouldn't be there.
