Woot another new world, great story! Will there be a sequel(s)?

Oh, I also grew up in rural Oregon (SW, near Medford)... so I 'feel' the story a bit more 🌲🏔️

If this is your first story, you have been missing your calling. Well written, great descriptions without being over the top (one of my pet peeves). We get an idea of whats around without too many details.

Just re-read these stories to refresh my memory. Still hoping for a continuation! I also think there's still possibility to link with the Charlie Boone universe, just Armanti space is on the far side of Boonespace, and Earth is one of their most recent outposts before the Fall!

As per the title. Wanted to find this story to read again, it's not in my history, nor did I comment Main characters nickname is Squirrel, his name is S K Wirrel I believe. He worked at a fashion magazine in London for an evil female boss, reminded me of the movie "The Devil Wears Prada". The story is how he meets a famous journalist, keeps him from jumping from a rooftop, has to deal with an evil boss, lots of shenanigans with his BFF he works with. He and the journalist fall for each other, much drama, world events, eventually happy ever after. Tried looking for an hour or so through stories, the story search doesn't seem to work for key words in stories. I know someone has this story bookmarked. Thanks, and happy holidays to all!

hey dude! thanks for telling me New job and all, I don't visit much, so likely wouldn't have caught it so quickly!

I read the story up until this point. Writing is good (some grammar and ? errors) but the plot is seemingly going nowhere. Problem after problem for Robbie, and if something seems resolved, it probably isn't. Then add more problems. Story hints at the end of each chapter don't happen, or happen several chapters later. No consistencey here. Should have been broken up into smaller parts, its a very very long story.

Fatalities seem excessive given the frequency of Thread fall and the rate of replacements. I know it adds to the story, but the Weyr would be empty after a turn or two given the rate at which they are losing pairs.

I'm gonna have to come back to this story when it's finished. So far it really makes no sense to me. Good writing, but too much vocabulary to learn all at once, making for very slow reading.

Another great story, I always enjoy your writing style, it's always a nice flow to the story. I liked your spin on Kappa/Lambda connections. I think you said before, one of the great things about were/shifter stories is you can make things up! The one plot line I didn't care for was the cubs/kids being used for nefarious purposes, poor things 😭 Looking forward to sequels or spin-offs 🥰

Great story. Not sure why I missed it when I was binge reading the Refuge stories Not sure how Travis' part fit in, it seemed kind of out of place. Not my type of reading anyway 😉 Anyways, another great read from you, I always liked the way you write a story. Thanks!
