More foods I didn't know existed.... LOL. I shall try them (except for deep fried butter..., thank you but no thank you).

I am sorry for your loss. It was very shocking. Let me see if I can find the photo of a corner in SF's Castro where they put the flowers for the memorial. Hanging tight. I should remember your words. EDIT: The San Francisco Weeps for Orlando photo is in gallery now.

I am not going to pretend I know what that means. I suppose you pronounce anion to rhyme with zion, not onion.
-
LOL. Erm..., we're wading through some dangerous territory here....

No dude ranch. Or ranch dressing for that matter. No, no, NO!

Partners in gravy. Are you FUR REAL? Where is my big ladle? I am going to serve gravy all day long if that's what it takes to get me a BIG, STRONG, TALL, KIND, PROTECTIVE husband. *squeal* LOL The story is soooooo freaking amazing. So beautiful, I want to.... *sighs* Okay.... I am calm now. Trust me, I want to smash my computer screen when you said "no" to Michael. I was that bitch once. Costco Boy is gone because I was a bitch. It's my fault. And he wasn't Michael to tell me to shut my hole up. You two are meant for each other. I am glad he knows what he wants and I am glad you got pwn'd. Sorry, can't help it. LOL Sorry I am being too direct today. Okay, let me shut the f up now. And I am so glad you two love each other so much. There is miracle, and there is hope. And thank Mr. Paul put you two together. I am happy I get to know you on GA. Now where is that ladle?

Don't make me dream too much. Now I have to read Tim's story about..., I swear I am not stalking. LOL.

I don't remember what is the criterion. Newbie is reserved for people who is new to GA. I don't remember how many posts or time you have to stay here to get out of Newbie status. The forum has modified its rule many times, so I don't remember what was restricted to a Newbie (I think The Pits was one of the restricted area for newbies). But you have to ask someone else for official rules. I couldn't find it in the faq. You've done nothing wrong, so don't worry about it.

And that's the most noble goal of them all. There is nothing wrong with mistakes (as long as it's not lethal), but the lesson from it is the most important. I think Moon River in Audrey Hepburn's voice is ringing in my head.

Because it's true. Do you know how old I was when I finally found a job that's stable and think I could retire with? Way too old.... But I just work whatever I could, though it's not an ideal job, but I feel it's stable. Now I can finally see if I could find a BF/hubby. LOL. And how long does it take to finally able to write what I want to write and compile photos which I've been put off? Just now, with all the breaks COVID-19 gives me. We all have our callings, sometimes sooner, some times later. Hope whatever is there calling you, with this CS Lewis quote reminding you to look out, you're seizing the opportunity. What's one thing you wanted to do the most? Only if you want to share of course.

I hope I didn't sound snarky, because it really wasn't intended to be that way. Anyways. Let's just wait for it to quiet down and hope the world become normal again. Now all I could think of is how to reintegrate protestors when life goes normal again.... I don't know if you guys remember back in the 90s or before. Some protestors might have trouble finding jobs afterward and that'll create the big issues as if we don't have enough homeless people already. We don't want people turn desperate and later turn violent (which is already happening anyways, as some protestors are just frustrated with their financial issues with COVID-19 going on). The world has enough problems already. We don't need to add more problems unnecessarily. Flickr and Wired are already giving tips to photographers on how to protect privacy to people (protestors or photographers themselves) so people won't be targeted.

OMG. Wow. That's like super wonderful. One day. I might find someone like that, too... hopefully. Congrats.

I am not going to talk about police issue, as it involves economic planning and stabilization of society, which will eventually leads to politics even if I tread carefully. I'll simply skip it. Though I agree defunding right now is a HORRIBLE idea (if not catastrophic). The stop-bleed immediate goal is to de-hostilize among people (and less skepticism of police's role in society. A few bad cops gave bad reps, but the job is still essential, until people can moderate themselves, which seems to be even longer way to go than when I was a kid...). Education is not a political issue so I can talk about it. I don't think human compassion should be part of higher education. It should be part of basic education, fully integrated into all part of the curriculum, through and through. The problem with our education here in the U.S. anyways, is that we're currently more focused on academic/arithmetic/vocational stuff but not enough humanity. Lack of exposure to people who is not a split-image of us only exacerbated it, distill false mental images of race, sex, sexual orientation, religion, culture, you name it. And I hate to say this, the advent of online classes will make human interaction issue even worse. I'll leave it at here. If I have time, I'll talk in my blog what I think about education and Information Revolution and why people are more disconnected from the world more than ever.

Awww.... Everyone every-once-a-while has life happened on them. Your life is here with us (and you're writing), and you have Michael.

Thank you for this link. The documentary about Milk and Moscone is something I would be using in my current story. I remember viewing a clip of the White Night Riot in San Francisco Hall long times ago on YouTube as the aftermath of assassination and police raid of gay bars, which is a very important part of Gay History (not just for us locals!). I was just looking into that and boom, you gave me the link to the source. 😄 Now I just need to integrate that into the story.

Umm.... Computer games have come a long way.

Good morning. It's seems like a beautiful day today.

You two stay safe. Weather is crazy nowadays.

You remind me of a co-worker of mine. Super cool and I am sure she's okay with me being gay. She's a bit insecure of her place in the world (aren't we all? adjusting to this changing world one way or another. Maybe race, sexual orientation, or funny stuff like level of nerdiness LOL). But she's not a mom. LOL Which has some complication. I have to be a little careful as she smears her boobs on me once a while, especially after some drinks, so delivering the bad news to her is a bit of... a sensitive issue. I actually care about her feeling hurt than my own gayness, which at my age... it's not going to change. LOL
-
Yes. I long for the day I don't have to come out to everyone as a gay bottom. Explaining it is kind of..., you know, embarrassing. I thought it was self-explanatory.... 😛 Okay, back on tangent, yes, the human compassion. School used to give us essay to write about some important topics, like truth vs compassion. Common sense, really. (but now I feel we need to write a manual on how to behave like a human and teach kids in school).
-
Now I want to have a gaybie.
-
I am in Cali. It's not strange to wear shorts. I should take advantage of them while I still have cute legs to show. LOL
-
People need to learn what love it. How can you be happy when others suffer?
-
Nope. Just say no. I am sorry I took the bait and clicked it. And meat loaf.... I think that one needs oven.... It's a very greasy dish.... IP it? Eww....
