  5. Potentially. But with the right technique, one wouldn't have the worry
  6. If you can promise that will heat the water up
  7. Funny you should ask. I took a bath for the first time in forever today. In fact, I just got out. Showers usually work juuuust fine, but tonight, I desperately needed to soak in some hot water, and my bathtub was the best I could get. Lame ass apartment decided that one resident should not use all the hot water, so hot because lukewarm halfway through.

Giants- whuppin' Tampa Bay doesn't impress as much as beating the Cowboys at their home opener. Hmmm...ugh.
  9. Right, like their mouths are what I'd be lunging towards Eh, no I haven't, but I wouldn't mind giving it a try when the opportunity presents itself. *turns up the heat in the room*

    I look to him

You can look up for inspiration, or you can look down in desperation, but nothing is going to change unless you will yourself to make change happen, and it's good that you can acknowledge this. But I realize that sometimes, the kinda look that we envy will never be instilled upon us no matter how hard we try to obtain it (Like the collegiate swimmers I lifeguard for everyday, ugh, talk about amazing bodies). In that case, it's best to focus on yourself and your own potentials instead of envying others. Who knows, there could be people envying you from afar. Go for a run at the gym, or just try something more active. If it's motivation you lack, find a friend to go with you. Join an intramural team, or a sports club, w/e it is that will give you what you need to get yourself out there.

  14. The Outsider by S.E.What'sherface It wasn't groundbreaking or superb by any means, but it delivered all it could it a 12 year old kid. I've lost count of the number of times I've read it.
  15. True. Never go retail. I save on average $250 a semester by buying all my textbooks off Amazon/ebay. In regard to movies....it's the strangest thing, but I've always been fortunate enough to find copies I want having been, uhhhhh, washed ashore by a period of torrential rain....and being the environmentalist that I am, how could I not pick them up??
  16. I used to have a pretty accurate gaydar, but lately the battery's been running low. Mainly cuz I'm not so hung up about this typa stuff anymore. If a guy's into me, I can usually pick it up. If not, then it's fruitless to keep wondering if he's gay/bi/tri or w/e. As for me, I'm sure if you're keen enough you can call it out. Too often do I get whiplashed on the way to class
  17. Holden was an alright guy, but I'm uncomfortable with the fact that he'd been basically put on the pedestal for modern day teenage representation. Holden Caufield described one type of pubescent boy, and all of a sudden he becomes the beacon for illuminating the secrets of adolescence? This shows a complete lack of teenage representation in effective literature. Hamlet is not every adult and Holden not every teenager. In fact, the writing truism
  18. What in the world are you talking about, Mark?????

    Chestnuts

No clue, but here's a joke What do you call nuts on your chest? chestnuts what do you call nuts on your wall? walnuts what do you call nuts on your chin? A dick in your mouth
  20. lesfeuxdemoncoeur, you look like Cody Linley (see below). Am I not right? He was a Disney Channel actor/Dancing With The Stars contestant. And you tumble??
  21. My dad had a stick shift Toyota when I was a little kid and he'd sometimes let me..play....with........it. All joking aside, yes I'm kinda familiar with a gear stick. My dad used to let me change shifts for him sometimes on local roads, and no I have never caused an accident. It exhilarated me every time, giving me delusions of grandeur, like I had control over the entire vehicle or something. And then we'd get home and I'd just go "Mom, I drove the car again today!" bahah how cute was I....now I'm just a grump
  22. YES. and YES. And Entourage. And True Blood.
  23. Makes perfect sense and it's usually what happens. Guys are low maintenance, guys are funner to be with than girls, we are guys, and regardless of sexual orientation, we can potentially bond more effectively. Not to suggest all women are needy, complicated and a lot of trouble, and not saying all guys are cool, but I too have noticed there really isn't anything like just a night with 'the guys'. I do get sexually frustrated sometimes though
  24. Happy birthday Mike! My tv is rarely off in my room, except for when I go to sleep. Even in those instances, I always set a shut off timer of 30 minutes on it so that I can fade out of consciousness with dim lights and mild voices from the tv appeasing me into tranquility. Habit. What is strange is that birthdays have little affect of me. I rarely revel in the know that I am now older and a celebration seems so unnecessary. One could say this is partly due to a little parental neglect. I do however, love to reflect on the past year much like you, and go through whatever photos or videos I possess. It's good to kinda review what's been goin' on, and set aside new goals for the new year. Speaking of birthdays, I cannot for the life of me understand why a select few high school girls always feel compelled to pretentiously acknowledge and declare the fact that they were merely born *insert number* years ago, insist all to bow down and worship, and demand generous celebrations (So I've watched too many episodes of Sweet 16 lol). What you've chosen for your speech topic is pretty interesting. It's easy to forget that neglect, the passive abuse, is in fact still abuse. Potentially, it could also be the most devastating if done correctly. It's also the toughest to recognize, even for the parents in question or child. Now, I'm off to classsssss.
  25. Man, Austin is such a trooper. Not only did he decide to come out at such a young and vulnerable age, but there is a picture of him on the web for the world to see. I don't think I could do that at my age, and certainly not at his. There is so much from this article that gives hope to the rest of the country, if not the world. Kids should not be neglected of their feelings, and yes a 13 years old has just as much emotions to elicit as the rest of the age spectrum. Denying them of the opportunity to express those emotions, or worse, criticizing them, could be devastating to a child. I whole heartedly hope that more and more kids can come to terms with themselves sooner, less uncomfortably and with lots and lots of support. They all deserve it.
