    The Winter Harvest

First off, the sound I like. Is it macabre, or a grim fairy tale. Is that left to me to decide or are you telling something. A warning or an observation. At the moment a mystery as to why.
  2. Where is the super glue when you need it. I would so stick you here, with it. Sam.

  4. A very well written and told story. Heartbreaking at the beginning and endearing at the end.

    Chapter 13: Shit!

Blake and Haze are so adept at destroying themselves. And both of them are still mysteries, for the most part. We know Haze has family history. We know Blake has past consequences. We know how messed up they. We are seeing how they try to cope. They must really have strong core selves. That they do most of it to themselves is frustrating to the extreme. You want to help them. They expend so much energy covering up what they want and who they are. Maybe they will figure out a way to help each other soon. Ha! I love them so. And your story.

    Chapter 1

I really like this poem the way it is written. It's story leaves me feeling grey.
  8. A delightful romp into the lifes of Jerry and Chris. Made me smile. Well written and thought out.

    Poems

Of the three, I like Pampanga Easter best. I like the three verse format and the building of the theme in the second line of each verse. The other two are nice but I miss the third verse? Does that make sense? All three are interesting and and yes strange in topic, but the poetry is more.

    Poem: The Bed

Thanks Lugh for reading and taking the time to comment. :hug:I made an attempt at clarification of the poem in the discussion thread, if you care to read it.It makes a start at it anyway.I have this urge to write this way. It seems less static.

    Alright

Wonderful. Profound really in its intensity. And subtle in its shattering. So much said and told in a brief poetic style. Art. I loved it.

    It Was a Holy Day

Well, the immediate response was, I want the whole story now. I know this was a big short story, but I was constantly wanting more detail and more answers and more words. You get that don't you. Very well done, and I enjoyed myself very much.

    A New Life

Oh heck, I just have to respond to that "maybe". Normally, I love the word maybe. I of course will read eleven tomorrow so maybe I should wait, and maybe I will stick my tongue out at you.

    Chapter 12

Nice to see you posting again. So Nate can shoot. . Enjoyed the info on the starships drive.
  23. Penelope I think made a bad mistake in this chapter. Obviously, she has bullied her son. Perhaps this little trick will be the spur Haze needs to step out of his daze. I hope he does. Otherwise he might not be there for Blake, because Blake is acting like someone on the edge, someone needs to anchor that man.
  24. Will the word spellbound freak you out, if I use it? It's not so much the location of the story or the diving or the baggage Blake and mystery Haze are carrying, though that is very well done. It's what's happening between Blake and Haze.
  25. Happy Birthday! Westie!
