    I like Adam. But James is hiding some very bad things? This seems destined to end bad too. Or are there other things going on that have not been revealed? Is this a house of evil built by men of evil? Good writing.

    This story well deserves the praise it is receiving. I am just as hooked as everyone else. Blake's internal world is so frustrating and annoying and heartbreaking. A good bit of the story is the unfolding of this self-abuse he struggles to control. This is contrasted with a real world that is not within his control either but seems to be offering him a better life, Haze. I think we get Blake as readers at this point in the story, but Haze is still a mystery. Excellent. Superior.

    Great chapter, somehow I don't think we have seen the last of the Candace situation. Annie knows more than the boys think obviously. I think William is going to do something amazing stupid too.

    Another intriguing character, Davis, again you funnel the story down a tightening hole only to explode it wide open again. I love it!
