So much to do and so little background between them to make it work. Levi and Matt both are in a difficult situation. Hopefully, they will soon mesh a little bit better and obtain the position of father and son that they've been denied all of Levi's life. Levi appears to be a pretty good kid although obviously under great stress due to the grief and the potential changes coming to his life. @Mark Ponyboy Peters, you are producing another great story. Thank you.

@Ivor Slipper, another story that could do with a continuation! It was great but it really opened up to a possibility of going along with them as they grew older. With such a great beginning so much could have been added to make it beautiful story.
-
Enjoyed it very much @Ivor Slipper! I, for one, vote for a additional chapter or two or more.
-
Great chapter! Keep up the good work. Thank you for the new story.

A lot of emotion reveals itself in this chapter. It looks like a small chink In Levi's armor is revealing itself though. There is still a lot to overcome especially the fact that Levi believes Matt and Luke are living in sin. Homophobia is tough put behind you but for the sake of all it must happen eventually.@Mark Ponyboy Peters, this is an excellent chapter. You have captured everyone's point of view very well. Thank you for giving us another great story.

Excellent story Lee. Thank you so much for posting it. Look forward to the follow up story you mentioned.

What a loving tearjerker of a story! Thank you so much to this contribution to GA. It's an unbelievable story and so warm and loving. You are a true artist in the art of writing. Hugs and kisses to you. -
This is great! Keep the chapters coming.

Such strong emotion @Mark Ponyboy Peters. This is a very moving chapter. You're doing fine work in presenting a very realistic handling of what would really happen in this case. Thank you for the story.

Very interesting. Looking forward to chapter two. I like it that you got right to the point. No beating around the bush but right into plot.
-

This is developing into a great story. It's great to see you posting again and I want to thank you for this great piece of entertainment.

@Tony S..you have definitely brought a deeper understanding of depression, PTSD, and grief. While I personally have not had to endure these horrible afflictions I have known others who have and they are certainly debilitating in the worst way. If only one person was brought into the light by this story you have succeeded but I am sure that many more than one have benefited from it. You have brought this information to people in a most entertaining and enjoyable way. Living with Kent these past weeks has been very revealing. Thank you again for this presentation you have provided for our entertainment along with the many other stories along the way. You're an excellent writer and the fact that don't rely on page after page of raw sex and sloppy unroofed writing to get your point across, makes it all the better.

Kent can finally commit. This is a big step in his life, in his mind, and in his future. I would love to see this story go on much longer but I suspect you're about to wrap it up which, in a way, is a shame. In the very beginning I wasn't sure where you were going with this but it is now part of my life and I look forward to each episode. @Tony S., thank you again for this wonderful story.
-
Kent has found his starting point. He is ready to move on and hopefully he will fully engage with Marvin and Devon. @Tony S., you continue to do a wonderful job with the plot. You handled the turning point in Kent's life beautifully. Once again, thank you so much for this wonderful story and the entertainment it provides.
-
When has a writer ever transferred pain to the reader better than you did..............NEVER! Your writing is unbelievable @Tony S.. This and the last story you've written, "Somewhere Only We Know," have achieved a level of excellence that is seldom seen. Thank you for the most unbelievable presentation I have ever seen on GA. I am speechless. You've taken my breath away with your excellence in writing.

Caught at last! it will take time but Kent finally has the tools to recover and start living again. It will be hard, it will take time, it will take help from others. Kent is stronger now and he will recover. He has people in his life that will make it possible. @Tony S., you have captured Kent's thoughts and his emotions so completely and so accurately. Your writing is so good that we actually live in his head while he is thinking. You literally bring it right to us. We end up feeling Kent's pain. It is so realistic. You are an amazing writer. Thank you for this wonderful contribution to our entertainment.

It appears a future is beginning to form. After being in limbo for so many years following Ken's death, Kent is finally beginning to return to Earth. After so much turmoil, Kent has found his bearings in Marvin as well as Devon. It's good to see him calming down and beginning to enjoy a normal life. Marvin and Devon are both good for him and he for them. @Tony S., another great chapter! Thank you for such a heartfelt plot, well written, cleanly presented, and most enjoyable. You always seem to attack your stories from an unexpected angle that makes them so much more entertaining than the typical run of the mill presentations on GA. Your writing is at a much higher level than most of the authors. I would go further and even say that you are among the top handful that write as well as you do. Thank you again for the entertainment you provide.

Chapter 177 Stephanie's Secret
Joseph OHara commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 177 Stephanie's Secret
LOL, you are an evil man @Dodger. 😁 -
So much is now settled but now, so much is not settled. The hard part comes with balancing all the different parts that will make Kent's future. In my opinion, I believe Kent's life is in Thailand. Between Marvin and Devon, Kent found a new family one that provides the love and potential for a future of happiness add accomplishment. There's even the possibility of expanding his father's business in Thailand. Let's hope that Kent weighs all the possible options and consults with Marvin and hopefully comes up with a conclusion that keeps them in the life that he has just started which is beginning to work for him................. finally! @Tony S., another great contribution to the ongoing saga of Kent's life. Thank you again for another chapter of a well thought out plot, of well written prose, and providing us with something to think about.

Chapter 177 Stephanie's Secret
Joseph OHara commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 177 Stephanie's Secret
An excellent chapter Dodger. I'm somewhat disappointed that Rory's status with Robbie is still up in the air though. I was sure hoping they'd be back together by now. Interesting development on the cause of the pregnancy and probably not as far fetched as some might assume. Bored rich kids can do pretty strange things to gain attention. I really hate to think about Robbie's baby growing up under the Influence of Don's church. After what we seen of his fellow members It almost sounds like a fate worse than death. Please don't leave me hanging so long in the next chapter as I'm really concerned about Robbie's relationship with Rory. This is a great plot line and if there's anything I can do to assist you in editing or whatever let me know. Thank you and all the best Dodger.- 26 comments

It is nice to see Kent is finally opening up to Marvin. It serves two purposes. It shares the pain plus it brings them closer. Intimate details increase intimacy which Kent really needs. Beautiful writing Tony, as always, Thank you for sharing this wonderful and heartfelt story. You are a marvelous writer and the way you put your thoughts together on paper infers to the reader the characters' emotions so much more and so much more powerfully than just stating the obvious.

The Weight That Remains
Joseph OHara commented on Tony S.'s story chapter in The Weight That Remains
Normality for Kent seems to be right around the corner now. It will still take time, it will still take work, but it looks like it's coming. Kent seems to be able to adjust his position in life a little better now. Hard work, therapy, and the medication seem to be achieving results. It appears he can now bring Marvin into his life and position Ken where he needs to be in his memory. Tony, this is a very interesting and quite accurate study of human emotions and you're to be commended for describing and handling it so well. I feel I must thank you profusely for writing such an interesting plot, touching an area that is so unique in this forum, and doing it so well.
