  1. Yep, there's an update on the site to find out who she is. There are more pictures there. Here's the link.
  2. The Happy Birthday song. I've heard it so many times it makes me sick... People and their damn birthdays...
  3. I think the caption should be "Screw Jacob."
  4. Ooh okay hehe. Probably why I've never heard it spoken in mass and such before. I think I'd notice if the priest suddenly "And thus they punished Nephylim for she is evil..."
  5. I only have one belt and three pairs of shoes (formal, casual, sports). If you send the fashion police after me, please make sure they bring lots of stuff I can keep.
  6. The second one seriously looks like a guy (except for the boobs part of course). The fourth pic (the one in the jacket and cap) OBVIOUSLY looks like a lesbian...
  7. Giddimit... it was a hoax. Haha. Would have been awesome if it was real.
  8. Some of the stories here that I've read don't even focus on homosexuality or romance and I enjoyed them. They don't even "feel gay" if you know what I mean. So yes. I would follow a straight narrator. It's not like I haven't before.
  9. Which bible is that? I've never seen it in the Roman Catholic Bible haha. That just speaks volumes of your relationship with your brother... lol EDIT: Oh I forgot to add my explanation. I saw a menu in one of those shady restaurants. it looked something like this: Chicken Sandwich Tuna Sandwich Hamencheese Sandwich I stopped reading after that... lol
  10. Aww... lol. Poor guy...
  11. You've been busy... haha. Check out the best of nifty list. You might find something interesting there. That's where I headed after I ran out of things to read in the Archives. You can also try efiction where you might find some stories completed and others in progress.
  12. Just read about it in wikipedia. I think I'll check it out.
  13. I usually look for stories with characters who are in their late teens. If that's not your cup of tea, you might not enjoy these then. A lot of them contains romance and drama though i think I tend to focus on friendships (which often end up in romance or drama anyway). Here are some of the stories I've read and enjoyed. This is a non-exhaustive list and includes mostly what I just saw as I browsed now. Compilations/Series or Preferred Authors: All of Dom Luka's Stories - Enough said. I'd recommend starting with Dessert Dropping. Most of dkstories's Stories - Mostly Sci-Fi. Cole Parker's Stories - I've only read Tim and Duck Duck Goose and they were ok. Josh Aterovis' Stories - This one's a Mystery writer. I generally don't like mystery stories but his were okay. All his stories can be found in nifty. Start with Bleeding Hearts. All of Grasshopper's Stories - He has moving stories about the disability and discrimination. Start with Just Hit Send. What We Are (and the sequel) - An accident involving a hockey puck and a young man in a hurry to get to swim practice results in an unlikely friendship between four boys. (One of the first few stories I've read and one I wished was continued. Or, I wish the author wrote other stories too.) William Carter Saga - Note, some of the characters will make more sense if you read the first two books. The link here is the third book in the series and the one I enjoyed the most. You might be able to read it as a stand alone as the main character changes in the third book. Individual Stories: Christopher's Story - Set in Illinois, the teenager survives divorce and abuse to become a gifted artist. Shane - Shane is a lonely, extremely poor 15 year old. He is abused by his family, and picked on at school. Follow him on his journey from the depths of despair to finding a loving home and boyfriend . Someday Out of the Blue - Connor Matthews, a shy boy who comes from an abusive family is accidentally hit in the head by a lacrosse ball one day, which leads him to meet Ryan, an attractive redhead, and his younger brother, Toby. Connor gradually learns to come out of his shell, but not without some traumatic experiences along the way. Educating Alex- I don't quite remember why but I think i liked this. lol Laika - Brandon is a quiet Sophomore who just wants to keep to himself. When he starts getting signals from both a preacher's son and a punk-rocker, his life becomes something he never imagined. What follows is a funny and touching story about a confused boy finding his way through life.(Loved the character development though the ending leaves something more to be desired.) Leaves and Lunatics - by EleCivil Pocketful of Stars - About a kid figuring out how to deal with his homosexuality. You might like to try A Special Place by Sequoyah. I didn't get to finish it. It felt like it dragged on too long at the end. But the vast majority of the story was quite captivating. You might also want to check out the Best of Nifty and the Net if you want to browse through their stories.
  14. Millions are still watching. Too profitable to lose. They might rename it or re-brand it but I doubt the spirit of the show will wither away.
  15. Caesar all the way though I can live without the dressing. Come to think of it, I could live without the salad too. Just hand me the steak. Thanks.
  16. I saw an article once on yahoo about a 10 yr old boy getting a 14 yr old pregnant... or something like that... shocking... Girl: "What does this do?" Boy: "Maybe this goes in there?" Sims Character: "Woohoo!"
  17. Oh god... that reminded me of Sharktopus. Go search for it in youtube if you want... lol
  18. It's a new world we've entered and yes people are having sex left and right it seems...

  24. Offhand... Genres/Themes I usually look for: Fantasy (Magic), High School, College, Sci-Fi Primary Couple: Teens, Young Adult Genres/Themes I usually avoid: Werewolves, Vampires, Work/Adult Responsibilities, Horror, Military, "Sad Stuff", Porn, Political Primary Couple: Too Young, Too Old That isn't to say that I haven't read stories from the "things I avoid" list. "From the Heart" by Codey is a very sad story but one of my favorites. They just have to have elements in them that I like or appeal to me. Generally, I read as a form of escapism. I want to see or experience things I currently do not experience in real life. I don't want to read about some sap who complains about work and his coworkers. I get enough of that from friends. I actually think romance is pretty much part of every novel length story I've read here so it's not exactly something I've come to look for but rather something that I more or less expect to show up in the story.
  25. I like the analogy Ms. Strawson uses by comparing it to getting dressed. The article actually has some interesting points. And of course, I like how he ended it haha.
