  1. Great chapter. Peter obviously wants to do public displays of affection, but of course, Jason isn't having any of that. It was the same with me and Curt; I had to be very careful not to hold his hand or anything like that when we were in public.
  2. "I think Jason irritates me because he's so socially awkward.." But that's part of his charm. Here he is, the captain of the soccer team, good looking, and has a hot boyfriend. The story would not be believeable if he were not flawed in some way.
  3. LoL @ the shower scene. Yeah, I have had an accident or two myself in that situation. It's all good.
  4. That whole dialog between Jason and Peter reminded me of when I first started seeing Curt. I had just come out of a disaster relationship (and so had Curt), so I told him I wanted to take it very slow at first.
  5. Yeah, they need to try Phoenix, AZ in July. That will give them something to whine about.
  6. Yikes @ uber Catholic mom. No wonder Jason wants to stay in the closet. My BF is pretty much in the same exact situation. And I also love Big Bang Theory; it's my favorite sitcom.
  7. LoL, I know all about running extra laps, except for me it was swimming extra laps. My swim coach was just as much of a hard azz as Coach Slewman.
  8. Jason has short blond hair and uses hair gel. Can I say that I am officially in love now?
  9. Bowling For Soup. If you like pop-rock music with humor, you will like them.
  10. I've never once even considered it. Life is a precious gift and should be treated as such. Yes, I come from a "broken home", but I dealt with the pain of losing my brother and father in a mature way. And now that I have been reunited with them, everything is okay. I might be an emo, but I've never, ever cut myself intentionally. Razor blades are for the face, not the wrists.
  11. I'm there every day, so I guess you can call me a "regular". The fast pace doesn't deter me one bit, as I have been chatting in other servers for years and years. The only drawback is that ever since I have discovered GA Chat, I have severely neglected my sports forums. Oh well, one can only spend so much time online!

    Chapter 1

I'll just review the entire story, rather than go chapter by chapter. I remember way back when that the very first piece of gay fiction I ever read on the internet was a kidnap story (was on ASSGM, I think). And I literally could not put the "book" down. So when I learned that Forever Boy was also a kidnap story, I was intrigued. FB is a quick read, but it never feels rushed. There is a clear beginning, middle, and end. Yes, the subject matter is a bit disturbing, but one must remember that it is a work of fiction. No minors are actually harmed. I guess what I'm trying to say is that those of us who are in a consensual sex relationship find the fantasy of "forced sex" tittilating and erotic. We like to explore that "dark" side that resides within our inner souls. For example, I enjoy watching L&O SVU, but it would never compel me to actually go out and rape a woman.
  13. My friend Timmy brought this article to my attention. It is somewhat of a buzz-kill, but it's an important article: http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-gay-homeless-20101212,0,4425366.story?page=1
  14. There's not a snowball's chance in Phoenix that I will miss any of season #2. This show was simply amazing, even though it only lasted 6 weeks. Much better than that over-hyped "The Event" on NBC. What made the show so compelling for me was the first rate writing. The man behind the scenes was none other than Frank Darabont, the director of the excellent movie "The Shawshank Redemption".
  15. He could be a drug dealer and a pedophile at the same time. One never knows these days.
  16. It sucks that this Sunday will be the last episode for awhile. The show is simply amazing. But never fear, there WILL be a season #2; I just don't know when it will start yet. And for those who haven't seen it yet, I do believe that AMC will show all 6 episodes this Sunday. Fire up that DVR!
  17. My Dad's father is from Vancouver, British Columbia. So that makes me 1/4 Canadian. My Mom's family has been in the USA for quite some time though. I guess I should trace her family tree sometime. Oh yeah, I am from the Southwest in the USA.
  18. I wouldn't be caught dead in low hanging pants. So if someone wants to see my tushie, all they have to do is ask. I'm not shy.
  19. Yupp, young Mr. Taylor is already on Ellen's website; here's the link: http://ellen.warnerb...91-0b3e53aab37a Ellen's website is a bit slow to load, so here's the YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sit1CAuuvHY
  20. The original YouTube link is broken, here's a replacement: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tC5veY34sIY&feature=related Wow, just wow. I am so impressed with this young guy. Having the guts to out yourself at such a young age must take incredible courage. There's just no way I could have done that at 14.

    Glee

I've been watching since day one, having never missed a new episode. What initially got me interested in the show was the Journey number, "Don't Stop Believing". I had seen the promo for the show way back in May of 2009. I don't want to sound like a hypocrite, but Kurt is really starting to get on my nerves. Yes, I know he is gay in the show and in real life, but does his character have to be so nelly? There are gay guys out there that don't act like flaming queens; I am living proof that they do exist. Adding Chord Overstreet (Sam the blond guy) to the cast sure was a huge plus. I have heard that the show is very popular with the gay community, so adding a bit of eye candy surely can't hurt. He is easily the hottest guy on the show. And for those of you who wonder how the show is doing ratings-wise, it's doing very well for FOX on Tuesday night. Well enough in fact that FOX has already picked up the show for a third season.
  22. Hmmmm, I thought I had heard every single slang term for underwear, but this one is new to me. Anyways, this came up in chat the other day, the word "dope". The usual meaning is illegal drugs. But in CA, it also means kewl or impressive. So if someone has a dope ride, it means they have an awesome car.
  23. Well, in my case, the person that I text the most often is my boyfriend. His schedule doesn't always coincide with mine, so if I'm running late for whatever reason, a quick text to him lets him know the current situation.
  24. I won't even start a story unless I know ahead of time that it has been completed. So even though I'm a big time Domaholic, I have to refrain from reading "With Trust" at the current time.
  25. I was first attracted to my current boyfriend because I think he's incredibly hot. But now it's all about the personality. If we had nothing in common and he had a crap-astic personality, then I doubt I would still be seeing him. Wow, I'm the exact opposite. If I'm out in public and I spot a guy with really long hair, he won't even get a 2nd glance from me, no matter how hot he is. But a short haircut (doesn't have to be spiky, just short) will get me to check you out every single time! I often wonder if I am accidentally outing myself when I do that. Yupp, I just proved Nephy's point with my previous statement.
