  1. FINALLY!!!! - [did I say that last chapter or the one before too?] Stupid Demon, bought time he 'manned' up and recognized what's what. Men errr. wolves ...err lovers like Alan don't come around that often - you gotta grab and hold one Okay so now we got that sorted out, how in the blue hell is Alan gonna get Kynan out? Oh and lest I forget - I am still confuzzled over the time line stuff. Are you keeping this linear or are you bounce back and forth a tad? I mean is the dreamscape here during or after the part where Jacen is tending to Alan? And what about Duncan's little scene? Double Oh - at least Duncan got confirmation that Aure wasn't lying about him being an.

    Chapter 1

I get the sense that there are allies and enemies already on board. Wilcox seems like he is going to be a problem. Whether it is because he is Jr and was hoping to the new guy would be or it is just his sunny personality. And poor George has the hots for Travers but gets a hand job from someone he finds repulsive. Ah to be young and randy, not sure anyone I found repulsive - no matter how good his ministrations were would get me hard much less off. Hopefully his next bit of fun is with someone a bit more desirable.
  3. So I get to be the first - hopefully not the only - review for the moment. No wasting time for you eh Mark? Got them scoping each other out at the drop of a hate - damn this has the making of a randy ship if ever their was one. Interesting how different George is from his brothers - will be interested to see how their dynamic get's fleshed out. Have a terrorizing brute of an eldest brother and a good for nothing, whoring, gambling lout of a middle brother didn't seem the recipe for George turning out okay. Is the Gunroom going to turn into the Funroom by story's end? One can hope I suppose.
  4. Wow when I saw you'd posted a review I was like Trevor reviewed them all - or so I thought. Peter was emotional too - he had his feelings and his demons. Here he was a year into his relationship with Jason and Jason was talking about going to ex-gay classes because he didn't want to lose his parent's support. Look at it from his point - he was doing it, why not Jason? AND what's more important, Peter or money. That said, even he would admit he didn't handle it the best way.
  5. Actually thank you for reading it and for telling me you enjoyed it. I had to pause and think about what you said about skipping along - then I laughed when I realized you were spot on. **Slightly embarrassed but glad it worked** -- I should say there were times writing this I could feel what I was writing and it almost had be in tear - sad I know but I think that is what helped me capture the emotions I wanted to convey. Thanks again for taking the time to comment, always appreciated. -- Andy
  6. Took me a second to recognize the line - thank you Cyhort the Barbarian.
  7. Youser, do they pay those folks to help or make things worse? We have judges who deal with this stuff so that before anything like this could be done someone who isn't out to make a name for themselves listens to both sides. Not that my experience in this area is vast but it is extensive enough to know this would get tossed out almost from the get go after a hearing where River had a lawyer who was merely awake - the atty didn't need to be competent even. LOL. If this is what Soc Services is like, keep em away from me and mine. I think I need to stop and read something a bit lighter, like War and Peace or Apocalypse Now.
  8. So the boys get to play while the men talk about weighty issues. Why does it feel River is 53 not 23? I suppose his 'life' experiences are a bit more than one his age would have. Being a carer, I mean his career as one left us with the impression he is older than he is. But the little bitch who came over. Hmm either she is taking money from Cruella Henson or she has decided that this case is going to be her stepping stone to a promotion. Or then again, maybe she is just like Cruella Henson and disapproves of what is happening. As I said last chapter, you didn't let things be good for long now did you?
  9. SO things seem to be settling slightly - though Silver has had a set back. Now is the perfect Nephy moment to cause problems. The idea that Ben is a little River seems right and wrong. It's hard to imagine he was not tainted by the evil things Sophy got his parents to accept. Perhaps that is why he and Silver get on so well. Both managed not to let the evil around then corrupt their true nature. I click to the next chapter with a twinge of fear. You are never this good for long.
  10. HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAMON!!!! Hope it's a good one!
  11. Do they have licenses for people like Ms. Ward? I mean, doesn't gross incompetence lead to dismissal? It doesn't here in the US but I had high hopes things were better over on that side of the pond. It seems that - as dirty as you plan to make this, River - and Silver - have an extensive net work of people, important people, who know and care about them. Their contacts all speak well of them. Can't you just line them up in two parallel lines, give each as stick or a pipe, and make Sophy and Ray run the gauntlet. If they can make it to the other side they can have been. My guess is they won't make it past 1/4 of River's friends an supporters. But that's just my idea. I'm sure you have worse.
  12. Silver has never encountered anyone like Sophy it seems. Even the Master and the others were not hateful, evil yes, but not hateful for the sake of being so. It is hard to see him so hurt because he can't process the thing in the way other can. He has no ability - at least not yet - to filter out things people like Sophy say. He is, as you portray him, a child. Thankfully they tossed Cruella and her henchman out on their bums. You'd think Ben was the key to unlocking Midas's treasure the way they are after him. As strong as Silver is, as strong as River believe him to be, River is by far the stronger of the two. he is not allowed to break down, show his fears or emotions. Silver and Ben both depend on him too much for that. Why do I worry you are going to do something so awful to River that I will never forgive you?
  13. Oh Nephy, bad, wicked, awful, Nephy. You just have to torture the boys don't you? Any chance we can resurrect Faith, convince him Ray and Sophy are River and Silver[ they have the same initials after all] and tell him those two are to blame for his predicament? Please???
  14. Wow, the Dark Prince really is quite the charmer eh? Don't see why Kynan isn't falling all over himself to be with that Suave Demon. Not entirely sure what is going on with Alan in this chapter - does this follow chronologically the last one or is this just before the last chapter ends? And who knew that you could get spooge on you from dream lovin. Obviously Kynan didn't LOL. Thanks for my weekly fix
  15. PK's review is accurate it is horribly sad to see the innocent suffer - but isn't that the emotion you sought to evoke? One innocent also suffering is Bashta. How bad was it to watch his clan die the first time, including his own father as he scrawled go away on a tree, then to have to reopen that wound. You did well, it hurt - now make us happy soon.
  16. Uffff! Much worse than my guess that the Master had found them. Poor River and Ben. Auntie Cruella Deville and hubs sound like ... well Cruella Deville and hubs. If River ever doubted the depth of Silver's love he should be past that now. I thought the part where he explains - patiently I might add - to River that when you love someone this is what you do for them. Like Duh!! At least this one was cliff free. Whew.
  17. See oh dark one, you scared me off with the talk of guns and stuff - so I stopped reading and you posted 18 more chapters in the mean time - lordy I am behind. So Exhibition went well, River and Silver are happy - time for Nephy to twist the knife. And there you go - leaving us on a cliff at the end of chapter 5. Shame, shame, shame. But then why am I not surprised to be left on a cliff waiting to hear the master found them and they are going to be on the run again. Hopefully my guesses are not very good.
  18. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JWOLF!!!!!! Make sure to do something fun. Just not too fun, we don't want to see you in jail or added to someone's 'list'
  19. Geez that was some funky lovin going on in da dreamscape baby. Kynan is way more complicated that he first let on. And much less sure of himself as well. Alan wouldn't hate him. He wanted Kynan as much if not more. Scared off? Doubtful too. Kynan might feel he has more experience than Alan but truth be told Kynan's ability to connect on an intimate level that was more than sexual is not better if not worse than young Alan. Now if we can get Kynan away from the big bad demon prince. Dark, get your ass connected and keep posting.
  20. I started to read when you posted this before. I think I will wait for you to finish this before reading again - that way I can keep up with the new version and go from there. Glad you are back in full swing. You were missed during your absence.
  21. Won't say I didn't enjoy reading that cause I did but Kyle's emotions were hard to figure in that one. He seemed all over the board. Jealous, not jealous, mad, then deceptive. Sadly for Cooper, he doesn't have clean hands so that makes it hard to get angry. One part I want to specifically comment on - when Cooper realizes he hasn't been faithful for even a week, that was pretty telling. He knew that he couldn't or better said wouldn't say I love you until he had a better handle on his ability to be faithful. His saying not to Tanner unless or until Kyle was there was a step in the right direction. Now we'll see if he keeps it up... er maintains his faithfulness Andy
  22. Queen of the Red Ink? - [works in your red hair and the fact that edits used to be red ink ] If all else fails, Frosty isn't taken yet.
  23. And so we learn a bit more about Cavel and his people. Not that I am complaining but that was not the most satisfying chapter. Just ... hmmm .... I can't quite place why ... Oh! Sanp, I know - CLIFFHANGER - the return of CIA QUEEN OF THE CLIFFS!!! hehehe. Actually It felt right, the emotions were what you would expect. The expectancy upon landing only to learn it would not happen as though, the fear for others, the anger at their leader for not having the cure. All of it. One thing I am having a problem with is picture Bashta in pants and shirt - he was so much hotter in a loin cloth.
  24. Thanks again B. The last 8 chapters are a bit of a rollercoaster - I have to warn you. I look forward to hearing how you liked it all at the end. Review Chapter 49 not 50. 50 isn't much more than a preview of the trial of Jordan Colmar so it has almost nothing to do with Jason and Peter other than Peter was attacked. [okay so the plot has a lot to do with them but the chapter isn't told from their side.] -- Andy
  25. Haha, Chapter 1 has so few reviews anyway - its glad you chose it. Not planning a sequel, maybe a companion story where some of the characters are the same but it isn't about Jason and Peter. That is the plan but for now I am working on Purpose and an entry for the novella contest AND the fantasy story. Thank you for being Ms. 350 -- Andy
