  1. awww WOW, Nick! That's really powerful and moving. Your dad sure does sound like an awesome guy! It sounds like he at least has a really teriffic family though! And just the fact that you actually appreciate it is something most guys can't say about their families. All the best! Kevin

    Happy 4th of July!

Thanks, Camy!! and good luck when you tell your friend!! I'm pulling for you and wishing you all the best Kevin
  3. I'll tell ya, there's sure no drought in Texas! ...well unless we're talking about my own chances of writing something....in that case it's like a giant desert! LOL but I do hope we get something new soon! Kevin
  4. I do live near and have been to a sonic I did not get drunk and handle explosives. The person below me hasn't been to the movies in almost a year. P.S. I'm so glad to make this post!! I was on 666 before this one
  5. Yay! It's Robbee's birthday!! I hope you have an awesome day, Dude!! And an even better year Kevin
  6. Mudslides?!? Matty, I'm shocked! First that you're drinking mudslides and second that you didn't invite ME Kevin (who seems to remember telling Matt about his penchant for mudslides)
  7. I agree with you, James. I think that would make a pretty good Toby now that you mention it. Kevin
  8. I really like this plan, C J! In fact I'm even willing to help **remembers the description of Kyle's incredible abs and blonde hair**. How about if we do a dry run first, and uh I'll play your part and you can pretend to be Sylvia and walk in (after a couple hours), you know to see how it would look -Kevin (who's always willing to help out a friend )
  9. You know I bet you're right! I could totally see people doing that. good luck! Kevin
  10. awww thanks, Birds!!
  11. Hey Nick! Well you know I loved your last chapter of My Jump Off, I liked how it went in a direction I wasn't predicting. Also I have to say that regardless of what you write or who reads it just writing it in and of itself is important! I can't seem to sit down with a story long enough to finish anything (or even make a good start ), I get tons of ideas that I'm excited about then after I get started I wander off. Anyway the point is you should be proud of yourself just for being able to write! Not only that but I really like your stuff and I think you've got a great future as a writer ahead of you Take care, Kevin
  12. Hey Blue!! Welcome to the forum [quote name='
  13. Welcome you two!! It's awesome to have you guys here! I hope you really enjoy it Kevin
  14. LOL if you want to make it really funny when she brings them in before she says who they're from and asks for an explanation you can blurt out, "OHHH! how sweet of MIKE!" But I also agree with James, be careful unless you're really sure it's going to be okay Kevin
  15. Nope I didn't, BUT ***jumps around excitedly*** I can help Ronnie! I didn't know how to do that either, but I was determined to figure it out. SO I remembered that I'd seen quite a few pictures like that in the Domaholics forum. So I checked that out to see if anyone had ever mentioned how it was done...no luck. So finally I thought, "maybe if I checked out the help section of the site". This is what I found under the "posting" section: That's the admin of each particular forum not the entire site. So basically the options vary from forum to forum. Sure enough if you go to Dom's forum for example and click on post new topic, or add a reply or whatever, you'll get the standard text box with the emotes on the left and below that "post options" with "enable emoticons? enable signature?, enable email notifications of replies?" BUT below that you'll see this seperate box called "File Attachments" and it'll have a little box with "browse" next to it. Just click the browse button and find the image on your computer that you want to upload. In the lounge no such option exists and it instead goes straight from "Post Options" to "Post Icons" (If the option is available in the forum you're posting in you'll see the "File Attachments" box between these two). So anyway it: can be done in: -Gay Authors Teen Spot -The Story Cafe -Story Archive Suggestions -Bill W's Rainbow Youth Connection -dkstories's Stories -Dio Beckstead Stories -Domaholics -Etienne's Stories -GhostRyder's Stories -Jack Scribe's Forum -Julien Gregg's Forum -Land of the Fey -LittleBuddhaTW's Stone Grotto -Luc's Stories -RHawes16 Stories -Underthehoodster Forum -The Wizard's Corner -Topher's Gopher Hole -Viv's Forum -Vlista's Forum can't be done in: -The Lounge -Hosted Author Story Announcements -Non-Hosted Story Announcements -Sneak Peaks -The Library (which is read only now anyway) -Comicality Cafe I hope that helps! The person below me had their favourite food within the last 3 days.
  16. Hey Jared First of all let me commend you for your bravery! I don't really have any ideas except, perhaps you could do a short home video or something. That would give you the option of saying exactly what you wanted to say in the way you wanted to say it without fear of getting interrupted or losing your nerve. Plus you'd be able to control the general direction, like if you wanted to reveal it in a funny way and then move into something more emotional. Anyway I wish the very best of luck. Please let us know how it goes. Kevin
  17. I've often thought Canadians were among the nicest group of people on the planet. Hats off to a teriffic people on their holiday (or a bit late, sorry)! -Kevin
  18. Okay so this is the first time I've ever read a complete serial at GA in one sitting. WOW! That was a truly amazing job Luc. It was extremely intense and emotional. I haven't cried so much since I moved (and I have cried a pretty good bit - from other sad stories and movies mostly). I felt like a voyeur at many points. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I truly think this is one of the best pieces on love that I've ever read. Deeply moving and inspiring, and nicely sad too. AWESOME job! I can't wait to read the rest of your work (but I shall have to wait until another day at least). Take care and WOW Kevin
  19. sry to hear this
  20. That was a teriffic chapter, Vance! WOW! what a hot sex scene! I mean....WOW I'm really loving the way Cameron and Cole's relationship is going! I can't wait to see it continue. I definitely agree with Dan, I think I stated last chapter how much Mr. Harris is growing on me; he did even more so in this chapter. It was really understanding of him to let Cameron spend Sunday with his mom. Especially if he doesn't like her lol. That said I had two very strong thoughts about the chat with Carol at the end. 1) I really need to go to all those places she mentioned, and one way or another I'm going to make doing that a priority before I die (wasn't there an old expression, "See Naples and die"? - meaning it was so beautiful you could die happy....hmm just in case I'd better make that one of the last places on my itinerary). The second thought was that this is, "too good to be true". I think something's up. I wasn't suspicious of Carol in the last chapter, but now I am. Anyway that was a completely awesome and wonderful chapter! The meal sounded delicious too! You trying to jump start my appetite, Vance? take care and have a wonderful day everyone! Kevin
  21. Awww thanks, Mark!!
