Hey everyone, I just thought it'd be fun to do a little poll and see who everyone favourite characters are and why. I had quite a bit of trouble deciding between Stephan or Jesse, I eventually went with Jesse because he seemed like such a great boyfriend and because I'm used to seeing things from Stephan's perspective and hearing how teriffic he is. For the family section I went with Stephan's dad hands down! He seems like such an awesome dad! For friends I went with Jules because she's been so supportive of Stephan and even was okay with the boy she liked being gay. Also because they have such a long, happy history together. Hey guys, just a fun (and slightly silly) pole about Cameron's mom. Please vote and let us all know what you voted for and why. For question number one I picked, "Let her stay, stay open to the possibility of a relationship, but take it slow" - this seems like the most prudent choice to me. For number two: "She's telling the trught; it's just as she claims" - I believe her. For three: "She'll be very accepting of both Cameron's sexuality and his relationship with Cole" - I just think she's going to be cool with it, or feel obligated to accept it. For four: "They've just never seen eye to eye on things. (For example opinions about homosexuality?)" - I think they're just very different people and often argued about things. This is very true, I went to the gay pride festival and parade last weekend and the entire day people stopped me to tell me they liked my shirt. I thought it was cute too, but I couldn't get over how many times I heard this from random people. What was it? A small black T-shirt that said, "I tried to be good but I got bored" which I bought for under 10 bucks in the boy's section of Target. I think it's just important to find a style that works FOR YOU. Personally I like to experiment with several different styles and enjoy going into my closet and deciding if I want to be preppy, punk, professional, or casual. LOL but then I again I sometimes wonder if some of my outfits aren't a little hit or miss and people just don't want to tell me.

Grrr, that always irritates me too. That's like saying, "Straight people don't care which member of the opposite sex they have sex with." or, "gay people don't care which member of the same sex they have sex with" (which I guess is something alot of straight people believe ).

That's exactly the understanding I always had of it too. However, lately I've heard so much about it being to the contrary, plus I think the other guys know what they're talking about, so I guess it must vary by state, maybe that's just the popular belief or something. Although I definitely thinks it's the most sensible way to do it (at least of the ways mentioned above).

I certainly don't mean to upset or offend anyone, and I realize that many gay people have endured much pain and suffering as a result of their sexuality. I think that's awful and dispicable and I'm immensely sorry it's happened. I certainly couldn't fault these people or anyone else for choosing to take an easier path had the option be available. However, I for one wouldn't change it if I could. Obviously I can't say I'd have choosen it going into life since who can really say what they'd choose if both options were completely neutral to them. Perhaps if only presented with the information, "this'll be harder and less popular" I'd have said, "well I'll have the other option then", but I can say more positive things than negative things have resulted from my sexuality (in my own life). Sure there's all sorts of social and legal injustices which I'll probably never be able to overcome, but given the choice I wouldn't change. Of course I have to say I have been exceedingly fortunate in my experiences, so perhaps I have no right to make such statements. I do know this about myself though, it's more important for me to feel different than it is for me to feel the same. I have a much bigger fear of being "typical" or even "normal" than of being "strange" or "different". For me being gay fit nicely with that agenda, in fact when I was first questioning my sexuality the question I had to keep asking myself to be sure was, "are you sure you're not just doing this because it's less common?". Of course I don't claim to be "in my right mind" as Umbathri put it either, I probably am, but I'll be disappointed if I don't at least qualify for eccentric. Anyway I fear my post will offend someone; this is most assuredly not my intention. I can only speak for my own life experiences and preferences, I in no way mean to question or marginalize anyone else's beliefs, experiences, or decisions. I definitely don't claim my attitude or thoughts are correct in general only correct for me. I also recognize that from a political point of view it might matter, and I'll rally behind this for the greater good. I just don't happen to internalize it. It seems a bit silly that it would ever come to the attention of any authorities in the first place. The girl in question must have been quite troublemaker/drama queen. Granted I've never been a teenage girl , but it seems to me any reasonable one would have said, "well I was asking for it" and brushed it off (actually I should think a reasonable one wouldn't have been engaging in such inappropriate behaviour in the first place). Still what do I know, I don't even have breasts. :king:

Hey Kitty! LOL thanks! They're my babies! and WOW! You're so observant! That IS the infamous bathtub fan! I didn't even realize it was in the picture! Did you guys notice the blinds in the background? They're really odd (to me at least) I've never had any like that, they open vertically, anyway I have two big matching windows in my living room and the really strange thing is that the ones for the left window stop at the base of the window ledge, but the ones on the right go all the way to the floor :wacko:

Hey everyone, so I was thinking maybe you guys might want to see what I actually looked like. So dispite my extreme dislike of just about every picture I've ever taken, here's a few. I also have some Lucky and Timmy (I didn't let them look so I don't know if they like them or not, but I think they're adorable ) I'd just gotten out of the shower in this, thus I'm sure you guys can appeciate why it isn't a full body shot. My hair isn't this colour anymore I had it a little darker in an attempt to look more "professional" while I was looking for a job. Okay so I'm not the world's greatest photographer, this is about the only where I manage to not be half out of the picture or cut my head off ....ohh and my hairs a mess in that picture That's my new current hair colour Timmy is the orange and white one on the left, and Lucky's the one on the right. They're brother and sister and as you can see quite close Lucky sleeping with Timmy in his chair. Lucky in her own chair. hehehe she's there right now too. Timmy kicking back. Anyway that's us.
