Aiden has gone above and beyond. But Aiden is probably learning himself just how much he cares for Will. I think he already knew, but this trial is one that quantifies just how much he really does care about Will. Will’s parents will probably find Will’s attempted suicide as a cry for forgiveness of his sins. They haven’t ever acknowledged the affect of their nagging and manipulation on Will’s mental state or happiness, the depression in their mind would be so justifiably caused by Will’s life choices and his internal conflict for turning on God. Regretfully, I don’t think telling Will’s parents about his mental state would be wise at this time. Like the medicines, firearms, etc., Will does not need triggers for depression. His parents could try in invoke medical guardianship over Will, they could take him back home, removing him from his apartment and from his anchor, Aiden. Even worse, they could ship him off to a monastery for intensive treatment and indoctrination. Aiden probably was wrong the tear the sketches up. I think the sketches probably should have been taken to the next therapy session for discussion. I don’t think Will resents Aiden’s actions but probably sees now and feels how much he hurt Aiden. The down side of that feeling of having let Aiden down is somewhat double edged…he doesn’t want to let him down, but can he be totally honest if he thinks it will disappoint Aiden?

I’m with you. Many, many questions, too many, to leave as a stand alone; …twilight zone mystery? You hit on many of the questions that should have been asked or will need to be addressed if continued. i see potential to flashback and to continue to built on this storyline, but as a standalone it’s unfortunately a bit hollow and hard to understand the many whys.

The biggest shift in weather is the shifting of the earth’s magma core. It’s the biggest shift in centuries, with history from before 1590. It is moving at a quicker pace than a hurricane towards Siberia. That magma shift alone is heating/ccoling the earth’s surface in different patterns. It is revealing or exposing complete forests north of Yellowstone that were frozen within the now receding glacier ice. Those forests were quickly frozen and preserved. They are thought to have been rapidly frozen in the last magnetic pole (magma) shift. That shift brought the magnetic pole and a cooling surface shift to Canada before the 1590 and later era. Forest encapsulated and giving us historical evidence from the rapid weather changes brought about from this magma/pole migration. Again this news mostly ignored as it is inconsistent with the current push. Like the gases erupting from a volcano, doing much more harm than man does in any single year, this magnetic shift is a huge event that is being mostly ignored or it’s impacts on weather is being kept veiled due to the current global climate warming mantra. A mantra that started in Eastern Europe and is now ignoring a huge amount of scientific data much like the masks and vaccine mandates of the Covid crisis. It is largely propagated for budgeting of government windfall projects and for the big business exploits of billionaire marketeers(market futures); billions being made while selling you there is a crisis created by man. This is a normal but rare earth event that should be monitored for the even more rare possibility of the poles swapping; an event that will have significant weather impacts; last estimated occurrence being 780,000 years ago. No doubt, man can take better care of Mother Earth and leave a smaller footprint, but downplaying this significant event and it’s impacts on weather is a huge embarrassment to science.

Then again… a shower is always refreshing.

Well shower with clothes on is messy and hard to rinse all the soap off. 🤣 My young neighbor boy loves spending time over here with me. One day he asked me how many knees I have, as he knows I joke, tickle and spend time teasing him frequently. After answering two, he says he has three knees. Upon seeing my raised brow waiting for him to continue, he informed me, he has a left knee, and he has a right knee, and he has a weeny. 😂 He is such a little character. 🤦♂️ He just turned 9yo and doesn’t understand the difference in normal neighborly relationships versus just making himself at home and being family like. Sometimes he wakes early and come over soon afterwards. He’ll ask for some butter scrambles eggs, or a bacon, egg, and cheese burrito. I ask how he’s still so hungry after having his breakfast, he informs me his parents were still asleep and he likes my breakfasts. 🤷♂️ 🤣 He has let himself in before and came to get me out of bed to make him breakfast…yup, because I like your breakfasts. It reminds me that I should probably lock my doors at night.

It is great to see that Jacob is still much the same and that he still cherishes his humanity, and humanity itself. In many ways I think the block his fathers gifted him was much the same as his advice to Aaron; learn to be human first. It’s a little strange that the world of ancients is on a human holiday…or is there more going on than Black Friday sales? Hopefully neither side, including Q’s father, has gone and made the Great Mother’s holiday any more challenging.

But at least the person killed or maimed could take comfort knowing it wasn’t a gay guy.
-
Ahhh, but is it murder or is it an unnatural death that is not ruled suicide? Heck, a drunk pushing Will around on the fire escape was pretty dangerous and rather careless. Yet this so called best friend was so wrapped within his own head he came too close to committing involuntary manslaughter. He’s a loose cannon, ready to fire upon his own ship.

Joey did go too far, and the girl in school that has not the brains to defend the privacy of friends that have entrusted themselves to clubs or social networks, to only be listed off by name so that that person could feel all knowing and powerful because they are right?? I worked in an environment where this happened all too often; where a so called friend to gays would like to boast to others that they need to accept gays are all about. Then to qualify themselves as an authority they would start listing names of people from the very social networks they were professed to be friends with. I knew of a few that had done this repeatedly, even after I had spoken directly to them, that this wasn’t cool. I had to stop these repeated disclosures in a less than gay friendly work environment. So the people disclosing and the persons baiting these outings of gay people were brought in for disciplinary action. They got a discipline record and had to attend sensitivity training due to their harassment of fellow employees. Truly sad but the boasting student outing or even disclosing an out person to known hostility is so wrong. As many of us have been victimized, I have little tolerance for a self serving “friend.”

Good news, Will is now free to model!
-
Perhaps Nikki does truly wears her credentials openly as her bona fides, but as an artist no one else can advertise in the circles you need to market than an appreciated, discerning artist, and critic. The way she impressed Will with is art presentations says she is more than a self proclaimed artist, she does have the innate vision to enhanced the art for others to see what she can. While the claim of worldwide recognition and art sales can be questioned as an outsider, her eye for presenting alone is a gift and lends much credibility to those claims. So…perhaps she is exactly who and exactly as she claims. The fact that Will didn’t immediately respond or deny the coupled assumption, says first that he basically trust Aiden, Nikki and Sam enough to be more honest, with them and himself; honesty in his sexuality, and honesty in his relationship with Joey. He knows he was looking from something Joey will never give, and likewise he knows Laura and Beth will never hold a position of more than friends. He may not have totally accepted that yet, but I believe it’s ever present. This all comes together to strengthen his relationship with Aiden and open himself to seeing that Aiden sees more in him than a simple roommate. Aiden has shown much care and compassion that is beyond a simple roommate. Will’s concern that Aiden might not want him as a roommate is exactly what an average roommate might have thought…unwanted drama in that one…stay away. Now Will needs a nice art sale to reenforce his confidences, that he can pursue art and that he needs to separate his adult life and his interdependencies with his parents; declare full independence Will!

Chapter 8: All hell breaks loose.
Philippe commented on vanalas's story chapter in Chapter 8: All hell breaks loose.
What a piece of sh:t Ian is. It’s ok to go around ruining countless lives but should anyone tarnish his image he thinks it’s war; an absolute hypocrite. How much of this exposure was Gael, how much was the other parties? It doesn’t matter so much as this is survival for everyone under Ian’s crushing shoe. Amanda was in Ian’s court…at least for appearances, but could there be a power play in the works by her too? Absent from the daily events after exposure is Natalie…or is she lurking in the bushes to see her man crying to Gael? -
Ole Charlie, much more than a simple man of fortune cookies; never judging the boys for other than what they were. Now he stands by them as he recognizes what they are to each other and the community. A heart warming part of the story itself. The guys are finding themselves and each other to be the same but different. It seems togetherness is more important than the individual quantifications; hopefully that stays in check. It seems one Thompson must still be staggering, or laying, about Thompsonville. One can only hope this is not the prison release and return of a convicted criminal trying to return to the ways of old. A simple look about would tell him the world has changed so that his hatred and mocking ways are even less tolerated than before. He needs to drunkenly fall into his own bucket of tar and haphazardly roll about in the feathers for which he had much mischief planned; then perhaps parade down Main Street so Thompsonville can enjoy their celebrity Thompson Turkey.

Damn it, we need the right to use multiple emojis; and where is the distinction between happy tears 😂 and sad 😭 tears? Between loving 🥰 and 😍 being in heart throbbing love. Ahhh Hell, I could have dipped my hand into the bucket of emojis and thrown them all like splatter paint to reflect the many tides of emotions in this chapter alone, for the story as a whole? Just grab the whole bucket and splash the emoji rainbow upon the story in review. Wow, these are not whimsical or fleeting emotions, but building, stacking, laying bricks 🧱, then transitioning to the sledgehammers and picks to tear down barrier walls. I was transported through many passages of the story contained within Pink Floyd’s The Wall; These pressures, these emotions, the exposure, and the pending judgement, all coming at you…tear down the wall! So nicely, but so very emotionally done @Jeff Burton, bravo 🙌🏿, 😊, 😭, 😂, ❤️, 😍, etc, etc

Things do seem to be rather animalistically driven and unlikely to end with a chaste kiss 😘. However, even though Gabriel was coaching Ray to return to human form, I don’t think he really expected so quickly. Ray has been full of surprises from the beginning: guided by ancients to Gabriel, a human without recognition or recollection, unique human masked smell, empowering quick shifts, instinctively driven to save an injured vampire that was attacking him minutes before, giving life altering blood to his predator, self healing from an attempted vampire turning, revered by his rescued predator, a True Mate to Gabriel, an unexpected wolf pup shift on his First Moon, unusually quick shift back to human form, etc., and now a Mate Lust that seems unstoppable. Keeping in mind Ray only emerged hours ago and has had the Vampire Realm in an uproar. He has also been on the witches radar, with urgency to notify their Queen. First a Vampire delegation comes demanding extradition but retreats amid surprising and uncontrolled events. Now it seems they’re not in a congratulatory mood for the True Mate Pairing with the Stewart’s Heir. Hmmm 🤔, yet no responses from the Witch Realm… Should this Mate Lust be undisturbed, I have to wonder what else might be revealed, to either Ray or Gabriel. But even a huge revelation would not surprise me, nor do I think it would go unchallenged. Such mystery and excitement from the mind and keyboard of @Jack Poignet.

The shifter code was being thought of as a safe path to protect Ray…by turning him. That was rejected by Ray until he knew what he was. The Vampires tried to force a turning upon Ray with the slash upon his cheek…but Ray quickly self healed without signs of a vampire turning. Ray resisted his vampire turning but the originally engaging vampire injured himself by impelling himself upon the tree branch. Ray’s saving aid of blood turned the vampire, but into what? A head lopping vampire of greater strength and speed we’ve learned so far, but one that honors Ray and commands Vampire Leadership contraire to their own mission. Yet the same evening of the full moon proves no shifter turn was needed, as Ray is a wolf pup by all legal claims. Only the boundary laws can be challenged, but this event happened with Ray as a human and now he is not…and he is a True Mate, to the Stewart’s Son, making Ray somewhat a Prince or at least a lord or royalty. But the Vampire feel wronged, but worst, they see Ray as more than a life threat, but an existence threat for all Vampires. Is that a good enough reason to argue for war? Don’t mess with our undead status! 😂

Chapter 7: Gael and Ian are in a game of chess. Who will win?
Philippe commented on vanalas's story chapter in Chapter 7: Gael and Ian are in a game of chess. Who will win?
Ah yes, but the other peas in the pod, Amanda and Natalie, have their own comeuppance due. They have been deep in it with Ian but yet seem to have their own agendas too. Given their quiet shock at Ian’s exposure, it makes me think they weren’t really feeling Ian’s shock and pain but worried of their own demise. Carlos and Mia have lived in fear and have been manipulated for as long as they remember. As to Gael’s secret partner with much common interest, I have to wonder if it is not Ian’s very own blood 🩸, the disgraced and railroaded oldest son and Carlos’s brother, that has escaped Ian’s grasp and is perhaps far removed from his current attention. Ian has the cat and mouse syndrome, he likes to play and manipulate his prey while he has control, but then he loses interest until he feels like the mouse has more more fight and interest to him. The long departed son returning to haunt Ian is perhaps ann ultimate eat your heart out Ian revenge. -

Philippe commented on vanalas's story chapter in Chapter 7: Gael and Ian are in a game of chess. Who will win?
Ian has had his calling card or his bluff revealed in cold hard fashion, then the manipulative bastard has been exposed to the very people that have paid a high price to live up to Ian’s demands and expectations. What a great revelation. Though painful for the innocent child, it’s better he gain perspective on the man so domineering and ready to manipulate his life when it’s to his advantage. Trust us kid, Gael has done you and your mom a favor…though your mom gambled her own future, she too still has time to learn from her mistakes Now Amanda needs to quake in her high priced heels. 👠 And Natalie needs her exposure to be every bit as much a spectacle as possible. Nicely done Gael, and @vanalas. -
Chapter 6: Gael faces more trials.
Philippe commented on vanalas's story chapter in Chapter 6: Gael faces more trials.
Gael does need to leave the company…without a CEO; Ian needs to disappear 🫠, just as he said how easy it is to make happen. 😈 The 24 hour time limit is interesting. Obviously the family called in Leo to upset the apple cart. Which one called is probably Ophelia, but they’re all working to get Gael out of their society/family/business. This proves again how very evil and crooked Ian is, but their family and Alex’s seem little different. Will Ian kill or torture his own kin, you bet. So if rescued would Ian allow him to live or is his destiny already written…unless Gael can circle the wagons with all anti-Ian forces at play; 24 hours! -
Part One: You Have A Secret...
Philippe commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in Part One: You Have A Secret...
Meanwhile, Matt seems to want Brandon to come over, making the scrape iron seem like a convenient excuse. Too embarrassed to ask for database questions or is it something more important due to this budding relationship between Tyler and Brandon? Then again, grimy ole Matt seems perfect to ask Tyler, “ who’s your daddy?”- 46 comments

Act II - For The First Time In Forever
Philippe commented on Jack Poignet's story chapter in Act II - For The First Time In Forever
Somehow, I either missed this chapter posting or I didn’t get the notification 🔔. Either way, I’m so glad I found it now. In some shifter worlds the pups can’t shift human until a certain age, in others they can’t shift to wolf until said age. I’m not sure we have a baseline of what age shifting and reverting could and should be normal. However, they all seem to be somewhat bewildered, but yet accepting the unbelievable at this time. Yes, many mysterious phenomena within the wolf realm and the realms beyond. The wicked witches have been siphoning powers from the other realms, however, we don’t know that story yet either. Was that to dampen the warring ways or more of what is popular to think of as the wicked witches are just cunning and dangerous. Is there a prophecy? The appearance of the ancients, guiding both Gabriel and Ray together, whether because they belonged together, or because Ray’s emergence put him at great risk, seems to beg of legends and prophecy. Yet the legends themselves returning can write its own prophecy that the world of past may be returning…but how, and why now? Ray emerged only a day ago, no history, no clear knowledge or awareness. The full moon appears with a day’s time to bring about the next big emergence…Fluffy Big Paws, true mate, powers unwitnessed by any living…legendary. What will the second day bring? Shall we witness Ray growing and emerging now as a young adult wolf? Or will we see slower emergence in the coming hours/days? -
