Well at least it was reviewed before things got out of hand, that could have been a messy situation.

Pool, a Fool, and Home/Away School
Philippe commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in Pool, a Fool, and Home/Away School
Ironic that you have pitted what seems to be a mentally handicapped antagonist of the physically handicapped and birth deformed victim. Also ironic that of Jeff and Michael, the blind from birth handicapped son is the most normal. I’m not sure the anger issues that extent to pushing mom and showing raised fists could truly bypass the mean definition; the boy threatening physical violence with his mom???? ….Mean, I see police 👮visits and reports in his future. -
Landing on root free sod that’s had rain or watering would definitely be better. Mine wasn’t concrete, but it was packed dirt over dense oak roots…rather hard. I had the ole Harry Potter boneless wrist going on with the broken wrist, but was able to get up and walk to the house with excruciating pain, nausea level pain, in my back. My brother was in town and drove me to the hospital, but by that time the swelling and inflammation was occurring all over my body. All my clothes were getting tighter and the pain was so bad I don’t remember much except being in and out of it mentally. Even now I require nerved burning/blockers with continuous medication regiments. I shrunk a good bit in height that day too, I wouldn’t wish this on anybody.

Let’s please keep the real world politics out of our fictional stories and comments, if I want political activism and persuasion I watch the news.
-
Yeah, having fallen 20 feet myself, to have one wrist shattered, that same associated shoulder ruptured, and worst of all, I have moderate to severe spinal compression fractures all the way from my neck to my butt; with one area having severe vertebrae rupture. I was in the hospital for nearly a month for stabilization and simple mobility rehabilitation. Unless something was there to break Will‘s fall, a four story fall would have done far more damage than a simple, broken arm, and severe concussion; his injuries are like falling from a one story roof…so second floor fall. Mine is like third floor. Forth floor?

Well good, mom is showing she’s human but also showing that dad is heading for trouble, as he may not be losing just a son. Likewise, Aiden’s a good boy, seems to imply mom doesn’t mind that Will has him as a friend, a roommate, and possibly more if mom is understanding that Will doesn’t have a choice in changing nature. Aiden showed is frustration and exhaustion. While in an uncontrolled environment those words and emotions could be a repeat of the night of flight…attempt. In this controlled environment, I think Aiden said and Will heard what needed to be said. It’s better that Will hear and see the impact his life and to know that it does matter to those that care for him; stop looking through the Joey soda straw! Open your eyes to see beyond the safe friends zone and accept the possibility of love and partnership, possibly with the dedicated guy that loves you, Aiden. Yes you’re forgiven, but can you expect that Aiden would reset to square one and allow himself to be hurt repeatedly while you pine for the destructive Joey.
-
In the rollercoaster of gay life, I think we’ve all probably visited the room of twisted minds.
-
I think some of Will’s confusion about Joey is that Joey being straight kept Will from acting on his feelings and saved him from being outwardly what he couldn’t accept; through his teachings at home and in his church. Aiden is the opposite, he makes Will happy to turn on his family, his church teachings (by dad), and to become what has always been known to him as an abomination. So sleeping with Aiden was a mistake against so much of Will’s existence up until these recent days; not a mistake for how he feels about Aiden, but a mistake for what liking Aiden that way represents to the whole of Will’s narrow definition of his life. The mind is a terrible thing…when it turns against logic and desires with abnormal fear and paranoia.
-
Yeah, hopefully it goes back to Will simply waking in Aiden’s room, and in his arms.
-
Will was working on ideas for his art pieces, envisioning a piece in black and white tones until…adding a splash of red. 😖 Geez, Will’s mind has to get back on the rails soon, and Aiden was hit the nail on the head that Joey went out of his way to hurt Will with his words and then with his actions against Will’s family, church, and job; Joey is a selfish prick.

Tony did say it’s more Stephen King…

Yeah those allergies have been hitting me too, it seems that I’m becoming allergic to my reading chair. 🤷♂️ Hmmm, Young Bessy would be my choice if the choice is to keep the lineage. 🤔 Media posts are sure to get out, then those quiet walks may become power walks! 🤣 Is Phil Anthropy a pairing candidate for young Adam? Wow, fast work there. 😅

Part One: At The Movies
Philippe commented on Jason Rimbaud's story chapter in Part One: At The Movies
A roommate in college had a break from classes while my other roommate was just setting off for a double class due to it being a Tuesday and Thursday class only. Well his class was canceled due to the professor being pulled to an urgent conference. My flight lesson was likewise canceled due to weather. So as we both returned unexpectedly early, we found our other roommate listening to music, laying on the bed, wearing nothing but white athletic socks, and a pair of Cool-Ray sunglasses. He was rather into the throes of passion as he stroked his favorite toy. He was from that point forward known as cool-whip! 😆 -
Chapter 10: Trouble in paradise
Philippe commented on vanalas's story chapter in Chapter 10: Trouble in paradise
Ian has been elevated to full on war, in a very agitated state. Alex is now the target with the ultimate goal of bringing Gael down hard. Hopefully this riff created by Natalie will not distract them from the expected target on their backs. Likewise, with Ian‘s very agitated state, we can only hope that he will act irrationally enough to leave a trail of his illegal deeds, that not only brings him down, but will take Amanda and Natalie with him. Carlos is still in the crosshairs as in Ian’s mind his acceptance of the president position is the largest betrayal within the family, as Ian will still ignore his own contributions to his demise. -

Chapter 10: Trouble in paradise
Philippe commented on vanalas's story chapter in Chapter 10: Trouble in paradise
An excellent point indeed. Alex was caught unawares by Leo just as Gael was caught by Carlos. It’s true that Gael went to meet him, and perhaps Gael should have set the place versus going to Carlos on his request, but what couple that ever split due to others hasn’t had some level of amicable contact? They didn’t hate each other before and even though Carlos didn’t come to Gael’s aid when held by Ian. Neither us or Carlos knows the full story of just how that went down. We do know that Carlos agreed to stay away from Gael because Ian promised to leave Gael untouched; yet Ian betrayed Carlos and then tortured Gael out of his own hateful vengeance. It’s maybe enough that Gael doesn’t love Carlos, but with Ian’s heavy and ruthless manipulation, it’s hard to blame Carlos as having carte-blanche on those events. So Leo was unknown to Gael yet he accepted the apologies for having not been aware and for Leo smooching his kiss. Carlos was known to Alex and the kiss deserves consideration of explanation. The bigger question should be: why did Leo show up magically at that time, and how did that picture with Carlos get made and forwarded with such timing? Me smells a single rat in common with both events, and she deserves to pay for the many manipulations she’s done playing Carlos and possibly Ian/Amanda too. She’s all too happy to be the wife of Carlos at this moment, and having married the same family name, I fear for Carlos’s life as she may think the board would bestow a position yet again to a known but safe name holder…that’s a witch 🧙 or devil 😈 in disguise. -

Yup, no more free vine snacks for you Tyler. Brandon might need to have a raincoat or bib as the slurpee is tossed at him…but at least the blue will go with his hair. -

I lived in Japan for years, I always joked that Isuzu was the sound of a hardy sneeze. Even my Japanese friends and family thought so…or they just acted that way for the foreigner. 😆 It’s said that the widowers group suggested Marg seek the attention of one of the horny young bag boys to help her scratch the itch since George passed a good while back. So after checkout on her next shopping trip, she has a good young strapping lad helping her take groceries to her car. She explains that she’s having troubles with her itchy pus5y. Do you think you can help me out with my itchy pus5y? The young fellow hardly misses a beat before responding…I don’t know nothing about them Japanese cars, you gonna have to find a good shop for that. 😊 😂 🤷♂️ 🤦♂️ I’m not implying your grandmother had troubles with her beetles or bugs as they were affectionate know were I’m from.

Hopefully Aaron will accept the truck as their old standing partnership allows Tony to show interest. It was wise to buy the (slightly) used truck already configured as they need. It’s not new Aaron, it’s just a used truck that’s prefect for the job! 😂 If presented anywhere the gang may be near I’m sure the quieter truck will be cheered into service quickly!

Yeah, the nature of a cars having bonnets, boots, and tyres just seems so…foreign. 😆 But it conjures mixed images for me. Boots are not feminine stereotypically as bonnets are, so what is it? The front is for women and the back is for men? Or is it more of a cross-dressing situation where I picture a metal worker still in work boots, but wearing a dress and a big ole bonnet, turning his head to look at me on the finishing pull from flossing his teeth with a piano wire? 🤷♂️ While traditionally men owned cars and drove more, either for their jobs or to work itself. Women’s names were often given to the old cars believing the ole cars needed extra talking to or stroking to get them going; yup, fickle things they were at the times. Sensitivity to moisture, cold/hot weather, and mechanical fuel pumps that didn’t necessarily stay primed. Do I hold the accelerator down a little or do I need to give it three pumps in this cold weather; you had to know how to talk to them. Come on girl, don’t let me down. 🙏 Not me, my early cars were given more masculine names; perhaps my suppressed gay leanings were showing through. My semi-muscle car was a large head 395 HP (old rating system - a beast) 454 Chevy with power to process fuel and burn tyres just as quickly as your paycheck allowed. My little paper route work car was a 60hp light weight German Opel Kadett, that I bought to avoid burning lots of gas and the abuse of many stops and starts over a 13 mile route, often with windows down in bad weather; nope, not in my nicer muscle car. A movie of the days was a Clint Eastwood, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot. What perfect names for my drastically differing cars. But neither had bonnets, boots, or tyres. 🤣

An offer they can’t refuse, but it could get complicated if the brothers don’t behave or should cause problems. I would think the parents would manage but that begs as to why they are being homophobic in the first place; outing your younger blind brother to new neighbors? Mostly strangers? These guys are young and learning, but I was also disappointed that Michael was somewhat outing Stephan to Pete; does this run in the family? 🤦♂️ . Even if he has a history with Pete himself, it’s not cool to out others; is this the sheltered social aspect of Home School and not understanding the possible social impacts to others? Otherwise, the socialization and building friendships are heartwarming. The frank discussions and the jokes about the elephants in both boy’s lives are probably good and healthy ice breakers and perhaps good overall. But jokes of disabilities and those of disfigurations are similar, but yet they’re not. In the presence of others, each boy needs to let the other set the tone and acceptability for themselves. Yeah coach, I’ve been taking swimming lessons from my blind neighbor, says the disfigured and handicapped teen, while sporting a smirk 😏, or was it a grimace 😬?

Act II - The Bitch Is Back
Philippe commented on Jack Poignet's story chapter in Act II - The Bitch Is Back
Too funny. They stand in fear of not knowing the whole of Ray. Then Ray is forgotten as they all stand in fear for what they do know about…mother. 😂 There’s too much either unknown or unsaid about mother. It would seem the Steward Rafael and Lord Brynjar may know more than young Gabriel has ever been told. Why and how would his mother know so resolutely that it’s the witches…unless she has ties to the witches herself. Was there deception that brought her to Rafael in the first place? Or was there betrayal that motivated her departure? 🤷♂️ NEED MORE INPUT…DOES NOT COMPUTE. The way she invokes fear and defies the laws of road grimes and travel weariness, please tell me that she is not the evil Witch Queen herself. 😳 Illogical, true, but this doesn’t add up as presented without logic of the illogical. -
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood… No, no, no, don’t dream 😴 about divergence, 🤔 well ok, since reconvergence is in the works I guess maybe the symbolism is not leading us to the road not taken. 🤣 Tony seems to be getting his thoughts organized for both a new line of novels, and a new life with Aaron, in Thompsonville; both have to find their target as nothing is to be taken for granted yet, sell the agent, get boyfriend and sell him to the idea too. Hmmm, 🤔 used cars? Was that a glimpse into transportation for Tony, Aaron, both? Mention of Aaron’s loud beast brought laughs but hinted of 😑 resigned acceptance. Perhaps two birds with one stone might make the gifting a little more acceptable and easier to give(sell). Even the guys should back you on that one! Stephen King meets… hey, wasn’t It Andy Thompson? Maybe Andy and Red are the names he's looking for, of course totally coincidental and fictional of course, but these names do kinda jump out as credible; or maybe a Carl? 😂

Chapter 9: Ian is wounded. How will he heal himself?
Philippe commented on vanalas's story chapter in Chapter 9: Ian is wounded. How will he heal himself?
Wow, deceit in every corner, even then it depends on your vantage point as to whom is being deceived by whom. 🤷♂️ 😈 🕵️♂️ Is Amanda truly on Ian‘s side or is she trying to protect the company she wants for herself? Ian remains silent, as Amanda pledged to get rid of the problem of Ian‘s mistress and son, with which he planned to build a new life.. Was he just tolerating her for his advantage of an ally? Or, is Ian just giving her enough rope to hang herself at a time of his choosing? Did Carlos call Gael for emotional support of his own volition, and who is videotaping this requested meeting? Ian says himself,t that he is watching Carlos at every moment, but was it his party that video taped the meeting between Carl and Gael? Did Ian call in Leo as reinforcements after Alex‘s defense of Gael? Or, is Leo working on behalf of yet another party interested in manipulating Alex and Gael? Or, was Leo fed that photo as part of their trap referred to by cigar man talking to Gael? So many possibilities, do we roll the dice to fool ourselves into thinking we know the answer? 🤣 🤨 Is Alex‘s departure a strategic move to leave Gael vulnerable while Ian thinks he has an open opportunity for an unprotected Gael? While the photo would seem to capture a betrayal, Alex‘s departure from this one simple photo seems uncharacteristic for the situation that Alex already pledged to wait for Gael, that he understood it would take time for Gael to heal, and to fall in love with him. The ending scene where Gail meets with cigar man, Gael smiles in agreement that Ian has taken the bait. There seems to be no reserve nor regrets in Gael’s demeanor that would indicate the loss of trust between him and Alex. Once again, Natalie is missing or seems to be lurking in the background, or is she on a rendezvous with the father of the baby she lost? Mystery upon mystery, but it seems several people are busy digging there own graves; is that literally and figuratively?
