I’m not disagreeing that a trip to the Youth Detention Center. It’s a good eye opener even if it’s a progressive center. All to often though, it seems to be a common thought amongst prison guards, juvenile or otherwise, that letting jailhouse justice “teach” inmates that they don’t want to be there again. Instead of teaching that lesson, instead it teaches inmates to be the worst of the worst to survive or come out on top. It’s despicable. Prison reform needs to make it a serious crime to ignore inmate violence as a guard. All guards need to know they too can become inmates for allowing violence against another inmates; it’s wrong. You may lose rights as an inmate, but the basic right to safety and protection from harm should never be ignored.Yet, guards act as if it’s justice that a bad guy has harm visited upon them, and therefore turn a blind eye, or even set it up as if betting of cockfighting. I had an unfortunate detention from an illegal arrest. It was the late night and I wasn’t released until the next morning. But even my release had guards treating inmates, that aren’t found guilty of anything yet, as if they need to be demeaned. For my release as the court ordered to be immediate, we all had to line up as directed without questions or comments. Though it was obvious I was sorted wrongly, when I tried to raise my hand for input, the order was repeated no questions, no comments, you’ll do only as you’re told and speak only when asked. I was lead back from detention blocks through the prison blocks for all those serving sentences. At the end of all inmates cell assignments the guard finally asked me who I was and were was I assigned, when I gave him only what he asked, he then asked why I didn’t say something. At that point I reminded him of raising my hand to correct the error by only repeating his words…no questions, no comments, you’ll do only as you’re told and speak only when asked. My personal items were returned at the window where the officer made the comment, don’t be doing anything else to bring you back here again. I was livid. I responded that I was illegally detained and wasn’t guilty of anything, and if she didn’t agree with that she could take it up with the Honorable Judge or the District Attorney that corrected the arresting police officer; and maybe you should remember even these people that may have messed up deserve more than you trying to speak down to them. She was rather surprised and only said exit to your left please, Mr. Xxx.

Maybe he’s blocking memories not only due to head trauma but life trauma. He seems intelligent, with logic and smarts, and well spoken. He sees flashes of images, colorful and prideful, and readily accepts he is gay; of course he also accepted his judgement that Rodney is hot too. I’m not considered a religious person, so fear not, of me taken this as a preaching moment…I just noticed irony and thought it kinda…funny. No doubt the Queen Bitch deserves her end at the hand of those she’s done so wrong, it’s just Gabriel is there with opportunity at the height of her gloating…that some how makes me happy that she could go from gloat to play thing at that will of her own chosen play thing; and of course, for her to see and realize it’s happening and it’s endgame! 👿

So Timmy is a boy, and unfortunately his tough transformation serves to entertain some sick witches. Their own mother is amongst the missing, was she the last visitor to the Wolf Lodge? The Queen’s party is missing from their view too, yet they think of themselves as invincible. Nosey as they are, as if they are the only ones capable of scrying, they talk of misdirecting their Queen with a false prophecy; that’s rather light hearted as a treasonous act they ponder. They also speak lightly of the Queen Mother Bitch and her pet projects of Rafael and Ray, and toy with pushing Ray to bond paternalistically and more with the Steward; all for their sport…sick Bitches these Witches. They speak as somewhat ancients themselves, yet their Coven seems fragmented and full of power plays; how have they lasted so long or is this indications a deteriorating hierarchy within the Witch Realm? Is the Vampire King missing or blocked from the witches scrying? If free and still pursuing Ray, then where are the vampires now? Or is there a greater protection/protector that is at play here? With lead parties going missing have the ancient Guardians herded these parties to the land of ancients for remedial history lessons? Though the initial thoughts seemed to protect the value of Rayin secrecy to the leaders, but even our scrying Bitch Caldron Crew speak freely of Ray’s connection to the returnees and Timmy’s transformation, so the value placed on Ray’s head seems to be increasing every day. As this is an interlude, it’s understandable the Ray had a very limited appearance and no direct contribution to this chapter. I do look forward to more direct involvement and action for our young wolf pack generation. Such news as Gabriel removing the Queen Bitch’s throat all together would be nice; I’d rather kill ya than breed ya BITCH!

Wow, did you really let this marinate in that folder for two decades awaiting new inspiration? Well it marinated mighty well! So how fleshed out is this story? And of course, what posting schedule do you plan or hope to share with us? BTW, thanks so much for sharing your stories and for this wonderful kickoff field goal start of an exciting mystery.

That is a tissue line, just imagining the scene as the Trooper Daniel describes what Boy has already shared in his painful struggles to reach safety.

Ok, three of the five rats are now in custody. Opehia and Leo still need their comeuppance. Opehia played a part in breaking Alex; how and why did she manipulate her husband’s phone and did she actually lock Alex’s accounts? I still wonder if she herself was involved in keeping the husband from being successful with lawyers for Gael. Leo was very much guilty of crimes in Mia’s murder and coverup, he needs his prison time too; not white collar Cush but hard time with a chance to make friends that can understand him better than he knows himself, inside out! No doubt Alex screwed up, but based on what he knew Gael would have refused at his own expense, so Alex tried to discretely win his freedom. OMG, 😣 why @vanalas, you’re driving Gael, and us, crazy with this obsession to traumatize Gael…give the boy a break and let him find happiness.

Ironically, Alexander has probably told Brad as much. Yet his pride is that he wants to be pursued by Lyn just as he said Lyn would have to kiss him first. So since Lyn has always pined for Brad and has always dismissed Alexander as interference to his pursuit of Brad, Alexander has been waiting on the sidelines for Lyn to finally pursue him. Indeed, with Brad being good at reading people, he knows of Lyn’s little obsession with him, and he knows of Alexander‘s obsession with Lyn, so what better place than his wedding where he has a partner that he finds his two best friends, a partner… With each other! 🤦‍♂️

I love the descriptors of foggy awareness, the very vague instincts to survive. Then comes Trooper Daniel, a tired soldier returning home to find you’re not there yet, as you’re needed elsewhere. It sets the stage that he may have been touched by this boy’s will to survive at such a young age too, more than he could ever imagine. Now, just how much more will his heart bend towards this John Doe survivor? The young trauma doctor/surgeon has compassion too as this kid shouldn’t be alone…but where will this take us now? Wow @Jeff Burton, you didn’t waste any time ratcheting up the suspense aspect to introduce a huge story cliffhanger that we’re more distracted by the survival than focused on the but..but..but what’s gonna happen now?

I think that’s a red herring as to the kid saying that. It was probably overheard and peaced together by Gavin or someone equivalent; I can’t believe Michael would have worded or even stated the event in such a way. Mark, how about War and Peace you POS! 🤣

I was in college working a part time job at a gas station/convenience store when held up at gun point. Thoughts of that event as it was happening and those that followed were not without the gauntlet of emotions. Though no shots were fired, the lack of control in the face of ultimate danger is very traumatic even without blood drawn. The aftermath can make vivid the dreams of vulnerability and repeated threats on life. The questions from the therapist posing what if questions seemed unprofessional to me. It was guiding the thoughts more than asking questions that reveal one’s thoughts. How did you feel about the actions Stephen took? Do you think it was the right thing to do? Do you think if reversed you would have done exactly the same? Etc. I know we’re not trained psychologists, but it seemed a little to judgmental, suggestive, or leading for investigative therapy. Much like therapist for you molested children, it’s too easy to lead them into agreeing with their imagination and fears than to get the truth of what happened.

Oh but the bragging points when recruited via scholarships! More likely is that Victor would not qualify for the school at all if not for a scholarship award; yup, a bypass to the normal entry standards for the school. Therefore, no scholarship and Victor has to petition for college the way anyone else would…by merits.

Guardian Ad Litem attorney. Attorney Mary Hilton, is no Ad Litem. She is just the kind of person that preys upon keeping kids in the system. She doesn’t care about a stable home for Jonah. She acts like Karen is family and will be forever, yet one illness or accident that makes Karen less capable and Jonah will be tossed about the system some more…and not likely to ever see Karen or anyone near as caring again. She also focuses on the state or more specifically her and the local system having oversight of Jonah, how is that advocating for the health and stability of Jonah, especially when she doesn’t even ask him what and how things are going, and what needs he has, how he is feeling and felt about the events. She’s part of the problem in Child Protection Services. In many states, Guardian Ad Litem is a volunteer system where it just gives the judge an unbiased opinion, one outside CPS; they are not required to be legal professionals and the course of training may be the closest thing to the legal system they ever see. This old hag is probably double accounting her volunteer time as pro bono contributions for her own taxes, all while she advocates for her ideals and not those for the children she’s supposed to represent. Jonah should request her dismissal, at least from his case, and speak to the judge. Even risking a legal or illegal recording of her sessions. It’s not for prosecution or charges against her and is only being submitted to the judge requesting her input, so highly unlikely action would be taken against Jonah even if illegally recorded. It’s so the judge may know Jonah and what affects Jonah most favorably. Sometimes a slightly illegal recording is much better than having no representation at all. Her totally biased actions in support of the court would make it highly unlikely they would want that aired in public to charges Jonah. Likewise, media makes a simple release of info a forever event that no court can fight the tides on. Sometimes the legal system needs a reminder that not all hearings have to be held to legal standards of prosecution. Having also worked with juvenile orphans, by death or by state removal, the system is broken. The states often contracts third parties to house and care for the kids; care being basic needs, not love or compassion. Placing kids is not a priority nearly like just having good occupancy levels at their homes to maximize contract returns. Teenage especially, are much more likely to age out of a system that is cold, heartless, and doesn’t care except on paper. Their incarceration and destitution rates or sky high, and an embarrassment to the system of CPS.
