Obviously the family called in Leo to upset the apple cart. Which one called is probably Ophelia, but they’re all working to get Gael out of their society/family/business. This proves again how very evil and crooked Ian is, but their family and Alex’s seem little different. Will Ian kill or torture his own kin, you bet. So if rescued would Ian allow him to live or is his destiny already written…unless Gael can circle the wagons with all anti-Ian forces at play; 24 hours!

Meanwhile, Matt seems to want Brandon to come over, making the scrape iron seem like a convenient excuse. Too embarrassed to ask for database questions or is it something more important due to this budding relationship between Tyler and Brandon? Somehow, I either missed this chapter posting or I didn’t get the notification 🔔. Either way, I’m so glad I found it now. In some shifter worlds the pups can’t shift human until a certain age, in others they can’t shift to wolf until said age. I’m not sure we have a baseline of what age shifting and reverting could and should be normal. However, they all seem to be somewhat bewildered, but yet accepting the unbelievable at this time. Yes, many mysterious phenomena within the wolf realm and the realms beyond. The wicked witches have been siphoning powers from the other realms, however, we don’t know that story yet either. Was that to dampen the warring ways or more of what is popular to think of as the wicked witches are just cunning and dangerous. Is there a prophecy? The appearance of the ancients, guiding both Gabriel and Ray together, whether because they belonged together, or because Ray’s emergence put him at great risk, seems to beg of legends and prophecy. Yet the legends themselves returning can write its own prophecy that the world of past may be returning…but how, and why now? Ray emerged only a day ago, no history, no clear knowledge or awareness. The full moon appears with a day’s time to bring about the next big emergence…Fluffy Big Paws, true mate, powers unwitnessed by any living…legendary. What will the second day bring? Shall we witness Ray growing and emerging now as a young adult wolf? Or will we see slower emergence in the coming hours/days?

I’m not sure that Mike is truly at the age and focus to be doing the stand-in father of the child. Yet Jess is too young to make it through this process without significant help; she’s young, first pregnancy, no family other than Mike at first but they both beg for help of big bro 😎. So I’m thinking they’re really needing more direct and tighter family knitting at this juncture.

OMG, to have your best friend, your boyfriend, killed in front of you, just before a brutal assault and gang rape by the murdering assailants; it’s more than vicious, it’s like a cult of murderous sociopaths. However, the tattoo alone doesn’t scream out as the perpetrator. While the characteristics and arrogance seems to support Antonio as one of the attackers, could it be he is mimicking other while fantasizing of dominance? Something more concrete than the tattoo needs to be revealed and then allow the legal system to have jurisdiction…at least until it proves guilt but fail in holding accountability. Quite a suspenseful chapter, while Christian would argue it a thriller. Are these Dragon Tattooed murderers and rapist the same guys that tortured Gael at Ian’s behest?

Ahhh, but gullible Edith believed the “social worker “ as legitimate. Believing Joshua to be 14 years old and a normal runaway versus the near 17 year old escapee about to commit suicide. Ironic that the imposter social worker is using some of the same stereotypes of gay men that the real social workers of the world often seem to do. Gay means pedophile far too often in social workers. Social workers seem to like that stereotype, as it supports their own bias and keeps them from having to consider gay men as potential foster or adoptive parents. Having been a volunteer/mentor of boys in the group home environment I had to process paperwork as if I were fostering or adopting a child from the system. I also had to an attend classes as again considered a potential foster or adoptive parent. The biases were real, as the worksheet scenarios and training focused on social workers being able to find the perfect home for kids. Their definition of a perfect home was a young married couple that would provide the traditional mom and dad home environment. Single adults, adults with age above young, gay couples, unwed, couples, and couples without better than average income were not likely to be considered as a potential perfect permanent home for a child caught in the system. The system is terribly broken in most all orphanage scenarios I’ve seen, and all the available data from states strongly support that hypothesis. So it’s not a far stretch that Edith would believe the tales of a social worker, whether legitimate or imposter; that she’s a nosy, gossip, but she’s seen, read, and understands these things she has observed…as a observant citizen. 🤦‍♂️

A very busy chapter, moving in for Will, while having sleepover guests visiting at the same time. Will’s overload and short circuit came at a good time as Aiden was attentive and to the rescue…or at least stepped in as a coaching confidant. I love the way Aiden helped Will address his internal conflict with religion as he knows it. Many believers themselves have pondered and studied the origins vs revisionism found in the Bible and other religious artifacts; much the same as any history of mankind. The fact the human messengers or recorders are involved automatically introduces biases…based on education, perceptions, and prejudices of their times. The discussion between Aiden and Will is a great starting point for Will to challenge his own understanding of his religion and his personal relationship within his religion. Very nicely done in my mind @Josh Aterovis Will may also be on a new path of self discovery with his art. Ironically, I believe Aiden will be an anchor for Will as he grows in his artistic direction and as a person transitioning from close parental bounds to that of unbounded. Will is more likely to have the type support and relationship he needs with Aiden than he will find in the more self centered Joey. I think Will is already sharing more with Aiden than he has with any other person. It’s always been just Joey before, so how long before Will removes his Joey only glasses to see himself and others in a new light.

Wow, so much anger. I’m not sure where the character development will take us but I have no doubt you’re expecting a stereotype of extremism. While I’m not a church going, faith proclaiming, holier than thou, type. I do respect people having a right to believe, to worship peacefully, without harassment, or in your face antagonism. I would expect no less from anyone else, as to do so makes me a party to such. The rallying cry of any group is to have control over what they don’t like, that they don’t approve, or they don’t agree with. Ironic that we on GA collectively are one of those groups often made to feel uncomfortable in the presence of others that choose to be so judgmental.

Well hell, many summers have passed, but that stands to reason as everything has gone from one generation to the next. Instead of quarters many places had started installing a central (hallway) token machine, so the rooms, booths, etc, were converting from quarters to tokens; would that be like using ApplePay to buy the Arcade’s Eggplant Credits now days? Where was the occupied sensor to let the hall monitor harass you for not feeding the video machine tokens; mostly because stepping out for tokens was difficult as the GH was taking all your….attention? 🤷‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ There’s something to be said for liquidity for making quick deposits and withdrawals.

I loved the Life as a House movie. It was sad but the life stories layered within the tale were touching. A vanishing career where animation is cold but cheaper, divorce is even colder and opposite of cheap…vengeful and manipulative, then the relationship of a man and his son. Ironic how permitting issues can come down to a six inch dispute. 😆 The architect builds his dream home, the neighbors, the ex, and even the estranged son, all come together…showing Life as a House.
