I had a different take on the personification of nature; the trees, rocks, sky, and river. Woorabull cried out his soul in painful mourning for Marwingee. His tears fed all of nature but gave birth to the transformative creative. The creature fed by Woorabull’s grief but manifested from nature. All of nature came to understood the pains and challenges to bunji bunji; this would not end with Marwingee, but would forever shape the people and the lands. So perhaps not simple vengeance, but of nature protecting its people from those that would never accept…nature as it was meant to be. The ole saying, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, is a rather philosophical statement . It can mean many many things; and can be discussed into eternity….but it can possibly mean my mind has seen this from my own perspective.
