Poor Richard, still too blinded and naive to realize…Harriet may have put your story and the likes of others into that last song. Perhaps the Mr and Mr Hayes assumption is correct, but even if not, the message in that bottle they seem to have consumed, is that perhaps Richard needs to understand that after high school ribbing and/or judgement…who cares. I think Nicholas or Dickoless will run and dive for cover while Richard is devastated…yet, who may pick him up to let him see his own value other than perhaps the joyful, happy, Sizzler King Stu. Just my two cents worth, but cents the penny is discontinued… and most rounding says then my two cents worth is equal to…ZERO, NOTHING, ZILCH, DICKOLESS.

I think it’s more likely that a subsequent event of manipulation or those previous events of probable rape may come to light and bring the legal actions necessary to let Casey and possibly accomplices spend more time being a pretty boi jailhouse bitch; perhaps in the Thompson Wing of the penitentiary.

In words yes, but in impact to self or others the difference is much greater. Casey set it all up, then cause greater losses covering the crimes against others and their property. Whereas Levi hears the words when the crimes against Matt and his property is already being paid within family. So no need to pour salt in that wound and add a record on a victim of trying to belong. So while the words are similar, the context of responsibility for crimes and damages are quite different. Levi is paying for his part internally without added complications of public law. Casey’s case would be no responsibility for crimes or damages to parties harmed, at all. So context matters in messaging, Levi is being held accountable…while not airing dirty laundry through the legal system that wouldn’t punish the real perpetrators but rather the semi-victim that was groomed to commit such acts. Likewise, whom is the victim seeking legal relief from damages done? If no public property damages were done and the claims of public harm being harder to prove, especially in the US where you have the right to remain silent, then again it makes a public defender more unlikely to prioritize this case over more meaningful and costly impact events. Will the insurance claim adjuster want to pursue the crimes more than the police? Given the fair market value of this total loss it is probably just more cost effective to pay and leave it be unless the police give the public defender something that is truly a slam dunk.

Nice thought, but it’s unlikely that the torching by itself can be distilled from the crashed and abandoned vehicle on the roadway. And it’s hardly likely that Casey and crew will take responsibility to same Levi.

Within the teen perspective there are those things already dealt with or their consequences faced. Then there are the things yet to deal with. He not only lost the logbook but what it represented; the trust and relationship established with his dad, the bond between them now scarred. Can he re-accomplish the logbook, no doubt. Can he recapture the same joy of trust and accomplishment that he had worked for, well…probably never the same warm sense of first, but if he’s lucky it may make the bond even stronger and give even more meaning to being a part of his family. So while it may seem he hasn’t learned anything from his experience, I’d say he is looking at more tangible things necessary to rebuild what that logbook represented in a more personal way. Can he regain that pride his father had in seeing him learn important tasks in responsibility, hours in a logbook are not the only thing that matters in a relationship of trust and responsibility with dad, with family, with his tribe household.

Richard is being used so that Nicholas can seal the deal while Richard entertains Marta. Well, I can smell ackward disaster for Marta. Hopefully Marta doesn’t visit after all the Richard can pull a shocker…attending with Stu; jealous there Nicholas? Nicholas is very concerned with whom Richard associates and definitely doesn’t want Richard getting interested in Stu. Well shocker Nicholas, think what you are doing to Richard as you don’t associate in school and then want to date a “cool, sexy, and popular” girl. Poor Stu, I think he really wants to go with Richard, but understands Richard’s just not as confident in coming out in school. If only he tried to have a little more private and calm conversation with Richard, then they could at least establish their own interest and maybe bring their focus on honest feelings.

Are you insinuating he needs to wait patiently while having a cork plug in his hole? That does tend to mature the contents some and does probably make the whine better too.

Granted, I think I read too much into the Majors comment of out of respect for Kurtis’ 14 good years, but anyway, Kurtis set that straight. As to mom, her subdued actions did ultimately help Kurtis, but she should have been protecting him from the eviction and the asshole. The comment of it being his house is far from true with a wife and kid. He could be looking for a mobile home trailer to rent while fighting his divorce and child support. Most any state will still consider him the parental father until …ironically his bio dad might have to adopt him or get court action of removing the parental rights of Bernie, or where Bernie willingly gives them up, as well as mom, to leave bio dad, once proven, as his next of kin. Legal version of Twister anyone?

Whether the Major truly believes Kurtis to be his son or not, he hates hearing that a person he once knew can discard a kid to be on his own at such a young age. Perhaps the better judgment does tell him that young Kurtis is his son, but I have to wonder if he isn’t also preparing to take out the trash.

That may just be a late night of drunkenness that makes him…forget what happened; how did he miss 3 days, to wake in a barn hundreds on mikes from home, battered and beaten rather extensively, with no ID, no money, and a strangely personal tattoo on his forehead… GAY HOMOPHOBE.

Which makes me wonder just what may be around the next corner or two. Luckily the boys, and their family is now more formal and hopefully somewhat permanent. Lil sis is taking the room change rather rough, will the boys be able to paint and move her sizable possessions in enough time? Ohhh, metallic blues, Miles has a very good eye and great taste. New furniture added to the newly refreshed room and Miles is enjoying a true welcome to the family…where being treated the same as others is rather…comforting and reassuring. Hopefully the new friends and classmates are able to welcome Miles as well as expected. There sounds like a few Tyson holdouts may play into the school environment but maybe that will stay more removed.

Been there, your schedule is entirely set by their schedule. But bless you for the values of caring for family; it’s tough, but they don’t deserve the heartlessness of contracted Nursing or home care if it can be avoided. I cared for my mom, as she had cared for my grandmothers, as they…etc. i was lucky in that I was available due to injury and being new in medical retirement; that wasn’t limiting for what she needed until I myself got stronger, so I only needed assistance when I had medical trips and such…fairly rare.

Agreed, too little might be a blessing…as long as the critical information is presented and understood. An educational brochure developed by a medical panel with strict age limit content would be a standardizes requirement in my book. Regardless the beliefs of the presenter the material would be required and an associated test would be required with a passing grade to avoid repeated presentation. But then again, I’m unforgiving in casual sex abortion as birth control. Im even more unforgiving when parents have kids repeatedly while failing to provide for even the first child, let alone multiple. Therefore the crime of neglect gets ignored while we tax subsidize generational welfare families.

Vicky and Richard’s parents are both terrible at explaining their relationship and history to the kids. Even if dad wasn’t ready for the girlfriend bit there’s still a lot they could explain about how they view their relationship and when and why things changed; instead they are making it more awkward for the kids as they are left thinking the parents have cheated or that the mom should be shocked. Ok, the book worm diving over the fence is rather hilarious 😂 Luckily it seems her bookworm glasses remained safely worn while she practiced her great escape dive.

I think it may contribute to the stacking of dominoes that could tumble upon the Thompsons once again ; victims of their own devices. As they have played that game too many times by what it sounds like and I can’t believe that Levi’s exposure by them but standing up and exposing them in the process will cascade the stacking of dominoes against them. High school physics, for every action is an equal but opposite reaction; see, Levi is applying his knowledge in applied physics. This should be an interesting group project where even parental and community help will be offered and accepted graciously. Just me projecting… 🤣 😈 😂 🤷‍♂️

Perhaps the subliminal message is tangential to that 13 more than anyone would want to believe. So Casey and crew are now full exposed and even opening boast their confessional plan of conspiracy for Levi. Yes, there are no doubts they will taunt and jear Levi, but ironically in doing so they may indeed expose themselves to the “me too” repercussions they stir up as a result. Among the others I sense Jimmy may have been amongst the violated as his discomfort to speak or explain the full extent of why Casey was bad news was too painful and personal. This may play into the forgiveness I believe Levi will receive when com8ng clean to his friends.

Seriously, did he not ever read or see the movie, the lion, the witch and the wardrobe? He is gone so deep into the closet he has become a resident in Narnia. Needless to say a character he is most emulating is the insecure brother being played by the wicked witch, are in this case, perhaps agents of the wicked witch. It seems just a matter of time before he turns to Stone..

Just the sneaky twist aspect, is the jailbird the same jailbird father or perhaps the other jailbird brother, and real father. 🤣 I have my own twisted mind of suspense cliffhangers. On top of that most likely in debt and owing taxes all while they burn bridges quitting their jobs and less than ceremoniously having said farewell (up yours, I'm rich) to employers.
