You may yet have the White Deer figured out. You can perhaps explain what and why White Deer shared the many time lapsed scenes to Killian; what has he gifted Killian? Is it all the events surrounding the excavation and looting? Or did White Deer gift him an understanding of his life and culture? That would be an incredible blessing and a high honor if so…, whether tribal or not, that blessing alone would be an adoption as a tribal brother by old world rules. Unfortunately, Killian’s life flashing before his eyes…or his thoughts…didn’t include Jacy, or at least it was recalled in Killian’s shared thoughts. I still hold hopes that Jacy’s part in the coming events as well as White Deer’s shared blessings or trust, will help bring those two souls together.

I’m thinking Ricky may be the Nealy killer but it seems he is far more likely to have manipulated yet another to do his bidding. Ironically, the most rewarding person to see fall to such crime is the one that knows well the crime he propagates by greed and profiting from his artifact harvesting by proxy. Hopefully he was too anxious to see those artifacts not catalogued or still laying in wait… Yes the slime-ball dealer, Joyner. With Ricky likely dead and Alexander even more likely the same, Joyner makes a very good candidate for a vacation stay at the Iron Bar Lounge, with free excursions to the local courthouse and prison work farms. Sorry, Joyner, any artifacts uncovered in the fields would belong to the judiciary department.

Best way to quite the other side…take the wind from their sails.

From the early days of Dolly being on the Porter Wagoner Show, Dolly was somewhat judged for being too forward in her over jovial and too perky attitude and well…holding such large perky tracts of land.Yet, Dolly never professed innocence or to be of most popular or common mind. However, she is as she presents, a deeply personal and caring person. I can’t help but believe she is indeed as kind hearted as she has long displayed in lifetime of work.

Young minds are shielded from so much, so a fear without total understanding is just a protective memory element. -

Sad, but I agree, though as for the kids I don’t believe Martin would care…just the extortion aspect of the she-Devil needs a little self-fulfilling prophecy, karma bitch, karma. Of course when she find out about Martin’s status/wealth, the old gal will have palpitations. -

Sometimes….a big…Scarlet A is exactly what is needed to label such a hypocrite; I wouldn’t oppose the branding iron,…hmmm, perhaps she tripped and landed with that hot iron on her forehead, cheek, etc, take your pick. Or a big red A tattooed likewise. -

Oh Jenny, Jenny, I got your number! Ironically, while living overseas at a time when internet shopping was mostly a hope and prayer…as who would you be trusting with your info and access to payment, draft or cards. But a sticking point was needing a phone number on file…predating verification protocols of callbacks or texting, they just needed for their records and it had to be a valid area code for that port area. This too, was before phone number portability laws started to blur the lines on were you were living and registered as a telephone customer. Well the military postal address system would use common stateside postal codes of the ports of transit… So my phone number needed that local area code, and I needed a number that wouldn’t be using someone’s active number; therefore, 555-867-5309 was my number, where the 555 would really be reflecting the local port area code. Yup, Jenny, Jenny, was my wife…as our number was universal as we moved around the world but still needed a local number to order from the US venders/internet.

I thought all these gay stories were a crossover between traditions and Man Gets Man?? OHhh 😮, the storylines of Traditions and Mardi Gras Murders! No sh/t, I had a mental pause, yes mental, on my first read. I was thinking what is @weinerdog on about? Then the gray cells kicked started back up again to give me his intended meaning. It a nice thought of two stories with talents of their characters brought together, making a quite intro for a talented team…should a spin-off be a @Ticklishboy30 promotion in the back of @Mark Ponyboy Peters’s mind. Compassionate young men, know to stand up for others, and having their own experiences, that all play into their relate-ability with the young gay kids/men in dire times of their young lives.

Ironic that you should mention those calls and now the lack there of. As you also mentioned the possibility of a guilty conscience. Unless I’m mistaken, the calls were when only two attacks had been committed; Fletcher and then the murder of Quin. We know Fletcher never saw the attacker and that he is also very respected in and around the tribe. Ok, so now the twisted spitball of this whole situation. We also know Skye is tribal, but he was also known from the previous story to not have tribal affinity, even his very intricate and involved dances don’t have the connection known to have been strong with Jacy’s father…that unfortunately died and left Jacy to only make tribal connections after manifesting his gift, and a brief introduction to the detached personality known as Skye. Skye is a fleeting character and a detached tribal member; he proceeds with his own self rewarding goals and carries little emotional attachment towards the impacts to heritage or people. Keeping in mind this is just my impression. Was Briget killed because she knew before hand or did she happen upon the looter? Could she have been the crying caller? Or does that honor possibly belong even closer to tribe and …Skye. Lady Vassey could be caught between suspicion and hope that her grandson has no ties to this mess. I could see her calling while torn…wondering if Killian can give her comfort…or would she bring her suspicions of Skye to Killian? I just thought I would admire the pond of red herrings, perhaps feed them a bit, then slip a couple on my own to run amongst those bountiful beauties already composing this rather large school.

Yeah, those 3-5 channels were remote controlled too, kid, turn the knob to channel 5. As we kids sat on the floor it was logical and the feedback loop for trying to channel surf meant the remote was likely to take a long bathroom break. of course, sometimes double remotes were required as one to change the channels and the other to move the rabbit ears and tin foil to refine the reception. 🤣

By golly, get jolly, we’re gonna be listening to some Dolly; what a talented singer and even more so a song writer.

I know for a fact that gays work, dance, and prance in all vocations; I grew up in the Age of Enlightenment…and The Village People. 🤣 So, The biker, the cop, the construction worker, etc. gay, though it is ironic that the stereotype does still ring true is so many cases too. I’ve met many guy hairdressers, decorators, flight attendants , etc that are indeed gay, but I think much of that is self fulfilling in that gay guys are less inhibited of being stereotyped and go for the job despite what others may think or judge. I think in some cases it helps young men meet other like minded people and brings a certain comfort too, that the work environment is less judged…for it is already stereotyped and therefore expected; therefore, the straight hairdresser is caught up in the middle of that, still professing his sexuality as being straight. 😆 If any of that makes sense to others… it’s kinda hard to explain as it is societal and social dynamics that would require a study to better define just why the gay gathering happens in certain career fields, while still knowing there are plenty of varied trades and professional careers that one may find gay men…that are not hairdressers or flight attendants.

DeWalt is coming out with a man’s epilator; it’s a uniquely modified grinder with an epilator wheel, offered in plug-in or 40v models. It’s a great gift for either taming or discovering the inner man in your wooky.

Oh no, the poor kid; and she probably didn’t notice him any more than before…so sad to be lone lad.

Yeah, they probably would have been pushing hard for sequels and spin-off rights while Charlie was still a new artist; now he becomes a headliner with a manager/agent. -

Well deserved, but needing to be said with the same vigor the stories evoke in those wonderful young bonding emotions.
